Hey All! just saying hello from NH :) Im not "new" to the boards, been coming here since waaaaay back when. BUT, I haven't been here in so long I had to make a new account and reacquaint myself with all the info and forums. I was able to plan fantastic trips for my family of six when my kids were young. Now I'm an empty nester and about to be a grandma for the first time! I am so rusty in my WDW planning that I feel like I am starting from scratch... I don't even remember all the acronyms ;)

Hope you guys can help refresh my memory as I plan my 2015 trip and looking forward to catching up with all the changes at WDW in the past five years! Can't wait to dive into the forums!

Welcome Back! There are many recent changes with planning a trip to WDW. Magic Bands (MB) and Fast Pass+ (FP+) being the biggest changes. You need to start doing research ASAP. If staying on site keep these dates in mind. You will make dining ressies at the 180 mark. You will make FP+ selections at 60 days. You will make BOG ressies at 27 days. You will need to set up a My Disney Experience account (MDE). You will need to link hotel reservations and park tickets to that account. All reservations are made through the MDE account. Photopass plus has changed to Memory Maker.

If you are staying off site.....well that's a whole different ball game!

Thank You! Yes we are staying on sight - one of the only resorts I haven't stayed in yet was POFQ, and I have heard it can be very romantic - so that's what I am booking. The wristbands are definitely foreign, to me as is MDE. To make it that much more complicated, I am visiting for the first time since losing my leg so getting around with a prosthetic gives me a whole new arena to explore over at the disABILITIES forum. Thank goodness for the DIS!
