Wednesday June 14th
Oops, I said in my last post that we went to Disney Quest today, but that is tomorrow, today we went to Disney MGM Studios.

The weather was sunny, hot and beautiful, and we made it for rope drop. We headed over to The Great Movie Ride (kind of cute) and the Backlot Tour (a little disappointing - guess I was expecting something more along the lines of the Backlot Tour at Universal Studios in California). It was very crowded as they were having Extra Magic Hours that day. We made our dining reservations 180 days in advance and I didn't know there was a way to find out Extra Magic Hours that far in advance so we could avoid them. We saw the Little Mermaid show, rode Star Tours, and played in the Honey I Shrunk the Kids area. I had been going back and forth about riding Rockin' Rollercoaster, but with all the crowds we decide to use one of our tickets to get a fast pass for DD to ride and use the other to get her a fast pass for Tower of Terror (NO chance I'm riding that!). We saw lots of characters, including Lightning McQueen and Mater, but DD was totally excited to see Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable. After a while she got tired of standing in line to get autographs, but we did manage to snap a few pics of Darth Vader and the Power Rangers. We split a burger, fries, onion rings, and a chocolate shake from Sci-Fi Dine-In for lunch. It was good, but even with sharing we could not finish it all. We split a lot of meals while we were there and no one ever gave us a hard time about it, and we never felt that we were treated any differently because we had the dining plan. For dinner we went to the 50's Prime Time Cafe'. We got Aunt Jenni and she was wonderful. She took pictures of us, tied bibs around our necks and after several warnings to get her elbows off the table DD got sent to the corner (I tried to tell her that would happen, but she thought I was kidding

), she was embarrassed, but she had a great time and says that we definately must go back again on our next trip. We went to the parade and DD didn't complain too much when I reminded her that I sat and waited for her to ride Rockin' Rollercoaster and Tower of Terror. We decided to go back to the hotel to go swimming instead of watching Fantasmic

(before you get too upset, let me explain that we saw Fantasmic 3 weeks before this at
Disneyland). After a hour or so of swimming we decided that we needed pizza (yes, even after all that food we've been eating all week), so we went to the food court and split a small one. This was the only extra money we spent on food all week

. We went off to bed late again.
Tomorrow we're off to Disney Quest - I promise.
