How many of yall saw the latest issue of The Disney Magazine?
Did you notice in their readers poll on page 42 which resort got voted the favorite. AKL was third, Poly was second and the winner was, drum roll please

Yeah, woo-hoo, yip-eee!!


Ultimately, I think we are all winners as DVCers and having the opportunity to stay at such great resorts!

I just love that Lodge. I could just hang out there for ages, smelling its smells and listening to the great music. It is a very special place.

That said, I love the Poly as well. But the Poly seems to be more of a "love it or hate it" place; not everybody digs the Polynesian theme. But who doesn't love the Wilderness Lodge? I am not surprised it won!

We love the Lodge. It's the only place that we'll stay. I just stare in awe every time that I walk in there.

Yes, WL is an awesome place, and it does tend to either appeal treamendously to people or turn them off completely. Evidently, a lot of people fall into that first category.

Although I'd be happy in any deluxe accommodation at WDW, including any of the DVC resorts!

We have our first trip planned for December and can't wait! WE got a sneak preview during our SSR trip, we had lunch and had a blast at whispering canyon cafe! The lobby was beautiful! I can't wait to see it decorated for Christmas!

Not surprising. It seems like even on the Dis-Boards, the VWL has a most loyal following, including my family. We love doing our every other year Christmas trip.

Boy, this reinforces that I've got to figure a way to get Disney Magazine again. I'd love to kinow what the whole article said, and where all the other resorts (at least the DVC ones) rated.

The top three in that article are Disney theming and detail at its very best. We love all three of them, but I must confess to a special attraction to AKL -- can't beat the private savannah.

We haven't even stepped foot into the Wilderness Lodge, but hope to stay there sometime in the future. Would love to know and experience what all the hype is about! The pictures I've seen look absolutely beautiful!

We lucked into two nights at VWL last December before a cruise. Nice big room, beautiful grounds, took the boat to MK for MVMCP. Enjoyed our stay, but was not overwhelmed with a desire to stay there again. Which is a good thing, since we own points at BCV and OKW!

My home resort! Yeah!!!!!! I stayed at AKL at Easter and missed VWL. It's gorgeous!

A beautiful resort, to be sure. I just think it's latitude is off by about 20 degrees.
