We're heading back to the magic this Saturday, staying at explorers as a "stop off" hotel and then the Cheyenne (for our first time!) for 4 nights.

My question is.. do the Cheyenne rooms have safes in them? This is one big plus that the sequoia has for us. We decided to do it on a bit of a lower budget so I'm quite nervous yet also excited about staying somewhere different!... Back to the Sequoia for Christmas though.

I think they are rolling out safes for all hotel rooms. I know the SF have them but they have undergone the recent referb which might be why.

Can you also advise where the check in building is?.. We've walked through before and seen the bar facilities. We'll be coming from the lake side (on the train).

The reception area is behind the Chuckwagon restaurant. If you're walking from the direction of the parks, walk up towards the bar but head to left as you approach the bank. This will take you round the back to the reception entrance. Alternatively, if you're carrying luggage it might be easier to take the bus. If you do you'll see the reception entrance from the bus stop.
