We booked the Xmas 2004 cruise the day it became available - taking full advantage of early booking rates. At that time we needed 2 verandah cabins since we were taking the smoking MIL with us. The great news is smoking MIL isn't coming with us now - she's adamant about not going on "that big, rocking, floating nightmare" (okay, I'll stop dancing now). The good news is when we called DCL (we booked directly) to ask about changing one of the verandah cabins to an inside (they were sold out of Cat 4's now and the kids don't need a verandah), we were told they would honor the rates when we originally booked - YEAH! Dh & I didn't know they did this and the rates have really gone up considerably since we booked. Anyway, just another good customer service perspective about DCL to share with you.
