We are cruising 2/1/03 & here's my question. We will be going away for the week between xmas & new years. What happens if my docs come while we are gone? Will fedex return the docs to disney after two attempts? Will they leave them on my front porch for a week? (oh no!!!) Anybody have this come up before?

The docs will be returned to DCL after 3 days. Someone MUST be there to sign for them! I have that problem often because I live part-time in ID and part-time in FL and of course never know exactly when the docs will arrive (and neither does DCL until they have been sent!). So I usually have my docs sent to my mom's address in FL, and she is home most of the time. They have her address as my "alternate" address.

I would suggest that you make arrangements with a trusted friend, relative or neighbor to accept the docs for you. Call DCL or your TA with that person's name, address and phone (required) and have the docs sent to you "in care of" that person. That would solve your problem.

If you booked with a local TA, just have the TA hold your docs for you until your return.
