My BIL is DVC, not sure if he can change the dates. Will be interesting as they need 5 airline tickets. I will have to ask him how hard it would be to change the dates.

Depends on where you want to stay. BCV, BWV, BLT and VGF will most likely not have availability. Larger resorts like SSR, AKV and OKW might. The problem is getting consecutive days in the same unit. It won't hurt for him to check, though.

It may be very difficult to change dates in October at a DVC resort. They generally get booked 11 months in advance for the Food and Wine Festival.(especially in the Epcot resort area) I wouldn't say it was impossible but I wouldn't count on it. Good luck with your plans.
