Not happy with Delta Song

So last night around 2am my father is on the computer checking on all of our reservations. When he goes on Delta song's website we find out that all of our flights have been changed. Our departing flight at 7am is now at 3pm and our return flight was 6pm and is now 11am. They just got rid of those flights there no longer flying at those times. We have MVMCP tickets for the last day the 19 and there was no way getting in at 6:15pm we could get the limo check into the CSR and make it to MK with out one person in our party dropping. Now I know that airlines have schedule changes but what is with the huge time gaps and why were we not notified. We have had these tickets booked since June. Now we are flying down early the 18 at 7pm paying 179 for the hotel at the airport and now we are on a connecting flight on the way home. What a great way to start a vacation. I don't know about anyone else I think I am driving from now on

I would call and find out what happened. Does Delta have better flights...even with a connection you may get in earlier. Generally if an airline changes your flights by 3 hrs or more you can ask for a refund or to get on other flights...I'd call.

MandaPerry ~ Are you flying out of BDL? What about SWA? We are taking a non-stop at 11:30am in Feb. If the airlines reschedule you, it is my understanding you can get a full refund. I would just check. I hope everything works out for you...Good Luck!!

I posted on this almost two weeks ago...The same thing had happened to me. I contacted Delta/Song, call either one you get Delta employees, and told them my flights were cancelled and a very nice man did his best to hook me up with connecting flights that at least had better times then the Song flights I was bumped to.

I kept the original great rate I booked the Song flights with $343.00.

My Delta flights in Jan. now leave BDL 6:25am change in Atlanta and arrive at MCO at 11:34am. and coming home we leave at 4:00pm change in Atlanta and arrive to BDL at 9:00pm. I'm not crazy about connecting but these times are better then the 3:00pm down and 11:00am back!
