After reopening (after having closed for the Pandemic), cast members were strongly encouraging Mobile Order for quick service restaurants. So strongly, in fact, that some cast members posted outside the doors of quick service restaurants told people (rightly or wrongly) to go away if they weren't able to use Mobile Order. I think that has let up a little bit, but you should be aware that it could be an issue.

The KTTW might be preferable for kids--lots cheaper to replace than a MB that went on holiday from a kid's wrist.

You can get a lanyard with pouch to wear so the card is handy.

I remember the paper ticket days and later the plastic card days. We used a lanyard and the necessary tickets, paper FPs, etc went in there and were easily accessible. I kept the kids’ in there, too.
