Not getting email notifications of subscription updates

I don't seem to be getting the daily email notifications for the threads I've subscribed to. Has anyone else been having this problem lately?
I checked my email address in my profile, and it seems correct.

Do you have it set to receive e-mail notifications? If so, you might want to check with the tech board. They can help you there.

If you're not at disboards you also won't get the updates, the email notifications that come in have a blurb about that at the bottom.

Say you shut all of your disboards windows they won't detect you as being online (see yours and my green button lit up, but the OP's isn't (as of 9:51PM EST) ?) therefore the messages won't come to you.

the notation on the messages from email says "There may be other replies also, but you will not receive any more notifications until you visit the forum again.

I am having the same problem. I'm not getting any email updates either!

I reposted by problem to the Tech Board (thanks Smiths! - didn't know there WAS a tech board!). Then I noticed a FAQ post there, and found that there was a similar problem back as far as 2003 and there wasn't really much that could be done about it.

Aww..must be like the search function. A persisting problem that they don't intend to ever fix. At least now you know.

I don't believe that is true about getting notifications only if you are signed on. I get them all the time, whether I am logged in or not. That is the whole purpose of the notification system. So you can keep up with threads when you aren't available to monitor the boards!
