Not fort wilderness but still camping ?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this question, but here goes...... We are taking a trip to Ontario from the Buffalo area for a weekend of camping..Question is what can I take with us as far as food goes. Tried to understand some of the customs sites but they are not real specific. Basically can I throw hotdogs in the freezer and such or the salad in a bag (dole) Canned potatoes. Any help would be really appreciated. Not usually this dense but feel I should play one on TV when it comes to this subject.

Customs is really picky, no plants, meat, fruit. You should come to the Canadian Board and do a search. There are lots of threads that deal with Customs!
Where are you camping? What area of Ontario?
