Not Fair!!!!!!

There is a host quest tonight starting at 6:30 pacific, 9:30 eastern.

I agree that it's not fair. While I can be up late, it's an unusual time and I don't usually go on VMK that late. I'd say "what about kids who have school the next day" but I'm sure a lot of schools have spring break this week or at least Easter break.

I don't think it's unfair. Nearly all the other events have always been during times while my husband & I are at work. This is finally something that we both can do. I'm sure for many others who are in our situation would agree.

if i didn't have school tomorrow i wouldn't be able to do that event

2morrow is my last day before vacation and we have a field trip but what if it wasent?

You know what? Then life would go on. It's a computer game and sometimes people can't make events. Life happens.

I know it's just a game and that life goes on, but this is something that I think would be fun to do. I don't get to do a lot of Host activities due to many other activities going on and this is one I would like to do. Unfortunately I have been having issues with vmk where it takes forever to log on (it's not the internet connection) and then I can't get into certain rooms (takes just as long as logging in does) so I can't finish any guest quests. I only get a few minutes a day on vmk just because by the time I get logged in, I have to log back out. I just want to complete one guest quest and then I will be happy. Vmk is my way of unwinding after a stressful day. :)

I understand that....but just because someone's schedule doesn't line up with the events doesn't make VMK "so unfair". It's a game...treat it as such.

I'm just frustrated, don't mind me. Lots of stuff is going on and I'm trying to balance the serious stuff with fun stuff as well as getting enough sleep. I just don't like Eastern time sometimes because stuff starts so late. And whoever said life was fair? I know it's not fair. I just think it's interesting that the host quest starts an hour later than they started other activities in the past. I do treat it like a game, so let me just have my complaint and it's out of my system so I can focus on more important things.

I understand living in eastern time...I do. And I understand it can be frustrating for kids who won't be able to participate at a later time. On the flip side, later times are a lot nicer for those players who can *only* do times like that. No matter what they do, someone won't be happy with it. Someone will be frustrated in the end. All I'm saying is that it doesn't make the game unfair as the title of this thread claims.

whoa whoa... there are host quests?????????? i doesnt say anything about that in the calendar!

EDIT: NVM i read the full calendar

Most events are all day so unless you work all day than you would be able to play them. Also I think that this is unfair because everything is always at like 8:30 or something like that and I barley have enought time to go to the room and play the game and everything.

I work full time retail (sometimes working from literally open til close) and my husband is a full time seminary student and works part time retail and is also being considered for a part time church position...in addition to school and his retail job. So for us, a typical 9-5 schedule is non-existant. Therefore, no, we're unable to play them the majority of the time. And I know for a fact there are others in my same situation. However, just because *my* schedule doesn't work out with the schedule of VMK doesn't make the game all of a sudden unfair. Scheduling has nothing to do with the fairness of the game itself. It just means that your schedule just doesn't work out.

Ultimately, someone "loses" in the end because there will always be someone who won't be able to play for whatever reason. But that doesn't make it unfair for the entire game.

Exactly! The timing is unfair for my own personal reasons and schedules. The game itself isn't unfair.

On a side note, I regret responding to this thread to begin with. What a can of worms has been opened! :confused3

I understand the east coasters being upset about the late times but at the same time I was glad to see this game started a bit later as most of the games I wanted to participate in up to this point have been very early west coast time and I am at still at work. Funny though as I will be on spring break next week lol. Oh well you just never know what is going to happen... :)

me neither dis. Those pacific people are lucky..
