My dd wants to go here for breakfast. I just can not get excited about it. It just looks like plain old eggs and potato wedges. While, my ds will love the Mickey waffles and dd will meet Stitch, I always like buffets over family style. Please someone tell me how great this place will be.

I felt the same exact way before we had breakfast there. We were only going because we had planned to have a meal with friends of ours who have small children. I was actually NOT HAPPY at the thought of going to that meal! LOL

However, I'm happy to say that the food, while simple, was very fresh and very tasty! Also, we had a very good server who brought out more and more food, as we requested. The characters were a lot of fun, and in retrospect, I'm glad that I went once. My own children are 20 and almost 17 so I don't think we'll being doing that character meal again, but for people with younger kids, or who are just young at heart and want a nice simple decent breakfast with the characters, then I highly recommend it! :)

P.S. The fresh pineapple was wonderful and when I asked for a little more, she brought out a platter of fresh slices for me. LOL

We have done Ohana's Character Breakfast the past 2 years and it was one of our family's favorite character breakfasts.....the juice is sooooo YUMMY!!! The eggs, potatoes and waffles are EXCELLENT!!!! One of our faves and I am sure you will like it, both times we had great experiences:thumbsup2

Thanks, I didn't even know they served the fresh fruit. I must have read the menu to fast. We love fresh pineapple and grapes. I also did not give thought to how much more fresh all the food would be having it brought to the table. My dd also pointed out how nice it will be to not have to plan trips to the buffet line between characters. I am really starting to like the idea of this meal.

DH and I did it in Oct. 07 because we stayed at the Poly and I thought it would be fun to do something different. The food was just ok, but our server was terrible. The character breakfast at the Beach Club is MUCH better and it's a buffet. Have a good trip!

We ate there as well and loved it too! I personally liked Restarauntasaurous better but Ohana's was still very good!

We tried Ohana for the first time last September and now it's a must do for us every trip:woohoo: :woohoo: The food is great;) Make sure you try the juice.....it's awesome:goodvibes

Ha ha! Sometimes we just have to suck it up and do it for our kids! If it will make your daughter happy do it!!! I'm sure you will enjoy it!

We love it too. I am normally not a breakfast eater even, but this meal is starting to become a tradition for us on our last full day at Disney. Although, I think we need to change it to a FIRST day at Disney tradition, because I am usually far to sad to be leaving to really enjoy the meal.

I think the food is good...the juice is really good. And I love the fresh fruit and pineapple bread.

And I agree...it is nice to have the food come to you and not have to fight a buffet line.

Go for it! :)

We really enjoyed this meal also!! I like buffets, but I'll have to say for breakfast I really liked this meal over the buffet we had at Donald's restaurantasaurus. The fruit was really good!!
