So we are going in October for a week but not attending any of the parties.
This may sound silly- but we definitely:confused3 DON"T want to plan on seeing MK the day of these parties right? Cause we will get kicked out around 4....??

Party days are usually lower crowd days. The park closes to non-party guests at 7 PM. 4 PM is the time they start allowing party attendees in.

You get kicked out at 7. If you don't care about evening entertainment or have hoppers, it's actually a really good idea to go on party days because a lot of people don't go on those days. If you get there at rope drop and stay until close to 7 you will get a lot done.

Wrong. You won't get kicked out until 7, when the party starts. If you don't mind missing the MSEP and Wishes (or plan on seeing them another night), party days are actually good days to visit MK because most people don't want to go when there's shorter hours and no nighttime entertainment.
