Not Disney! What is this cartoon!

My mom and I have been puzzling over this all night, so I told her I bet I can find the answer...someone on the DIS has to know!
Going through Christmas ornaments, I found one from the early 80's, and I can't remember the name of the cartoon it is from. but I remember the cartoon.
There is a racoon, a panda (girl), a tiger, a monkey, and a mole. Whenever they thought something, it flashed words across thier shirts.
Anyway, its been driving me crazy not knowing the name of the show...anyone know?

I had to look them up, I have never heard of them! Were they specifically 80s? I would have been *ahem* high school and college in the 80's.

It was the 80's, and I don't think they were on for a very long time. I had a Pammy Panda though, and I loved her.

True that!!! but thats what makes us interesting.... Yea it was an '80's thing. I was young then (born in 1979) so I dont really remember a whole lot about them, but I remember some....

I don't remember them either.....and I was born in 71 so not so young that I wouldn't remember.....worth a blizzard though! YUM!!!!

On another note, my DD20 has moved back to Idaho, she's staying with my Mom until she gets her own place and they were decorating the tree. Well, DD sends me a picture message..of my favorite old mouse tree ornament....LOL I loved that thing!! I told her she needed to give it to me for Christmas. LOL

Oh I used to love the Shirt Tails! I watched it every Sat. morning! I even think I had some school folders w/ the characters on them.

I vaguely remember the Shirt tales, but my big love was the Monchichis...I still get that theme song(along with the Gummy Bears one) stuck in my head from time to time.
