I was born there and came to Canada when I was 1. Went few times as child and teen, always wanted to go as an adult.

Deb I am going to try and keep up with doing the non-Disney trip reports as it is always good fun reading them back in years to come

Also with the girls growing up I figure it is a great way for them to remember what we all got up to on our holidays.

So look out in March I will have my trusty notebook to hand - although not sure how detailed a report it will be as the all inclusive drinks package may severely affect my memory.

Well, Tam (or as you shall henceforth be known, 20 Second Wriggler), a very fine job you've done there.

Despite your unsettled night and early start, you can't argue with a choice of destination which has you relaxing and soaking up the sun before midday. Shame that you were a little disappointed with your apartment in Lapud. It looks so pretty there, nestled amongst the trees and hills. And it looks very new, so at least it must have been clean. Relieved to hear that dinner on your first evening more than made up for lunch.

No ice for the rum? I now see that Kev was trying to re-create a holiday moment when he made Cuba Libres a couple of weeks ago!

Pleased to hear that you all recovered quickly from what turned out to be a less-than-pleasant walk around the island. The server at Pizzeria Anajklo sounds like a riot!

Kev - calm down ladies, there's plenty to go round.

Another smart-looking apartment in Dubrovnic - top accommodation sourcing! The tapas at Lucin Kantun look and sound heavenly.

Gorgeous photos of the scenery and assorted Stringers. Your family certainly got more than its fair share of good looks when they were being handed out.

It all looks unbelievably peaceful and oh-so-pretty. I can understand why you'd consider a repeat visit.

Well done, Tammy. You've written another fascinating trip report that certainly makes me want to see these places. Speaking of seeing them, my hat's off to your photographer/videographer for giving us excellent views of those beautiful places.

thanks for a great report. I don't know how you coped when the fridge stopped working!!!!!

Kirsty now flatly refuses to go on holiday with us unless its a Disney one, so our Spain trips are much cheaper now!!!
