I am planning a weekend trip to Halifax in October, not sure which weekend yet. I checked Jetsgo, Canjet, AirCanada, and they all have pretty good times and prices. I also checked Searstravel.ca, and they came up with the lowest price via Westjet. I went to WestJet's site, thinking it might be even cheaper there, and they don't show either the departing or returning flight times I saw at Sears. Should I be concerned about that, or just book with Sears?

Also, are there usually seat sales I should be watching for end August or early Sept?

Here's my free advice for the day:

I just checked the sears site, and it's a little confusing.

I checked for a random flight, and although the page it came up with had the Westjet logo, the flights that were offered were Air Canada. When I read it more closely it said (by the Westjet logo) that additional flight options were available and if you click on the "westjet.com" link it takes you to the westjet site to make the booking there (with full credit being given to Sears Travel of course).

BTW I also found cheaper options (by more than $60) for the Air Canada flights on the Air Canada website than were offered by Sears.

Thanks for the info, Amberle3, it was late last night when I was looking, and I guess I didn't read it properly.

mbb: I'm a Nova Scotian ( transplanted to Ottawa) and grew up about an hour from the Causeway. I've been to CB loads of times, but never made it around the trail yet. (We started out once, but the rain and fog caused us to turn around.) I'd love to see it in the fall, but not this trip.
