So any ideas, would be nice to see some with tog rating but unable to find any

Thanks Paul

Yes it does get cold here lol!
Personally when I need good quality outdoor gear, I go to www.mec.ca. They sell fantastic stuff at reasonable prices and I like their business philosophy.
I did a quick search of their men's products here http://www.mec.ca/AST/ShopMEC/MensC...?newSortType=salesrank&newSortOrder=ascending
You will see there is a wide price range, but I bet you can get a decent set of mitts for $40-50. Don't forget, your hands get cold because of poor layering elsewhere on your body too, so do a little reading on how to dress properly for the cold.
We go skiing here when the windchill is -30C, but it's much more comfortable when it's in the -15C range
