Anyone have some names of hotels that offer free parking for guests who reserve a room there before their cruise? Also I heard there is a shuttle service to the Port, we live only 45 minutes away so we don't want to have to pay to park $10 a day, times two cars... so trying to find ways around it.

Yes, that is true however the prices for the hotel are usually higher to compensate for it. The Radison is around 130 a night including parking. If you are going to drive to the port that morning I would think the $70 parking fee at the port would be the least expensive method for you to use. Not to mention the convenience...the porter will load your bags in the car & you are on your way home. No waiting for a shuttle with a bunch of other people.

You don't actually have to book a "Park and Cruise" rate at the Radisson. They do offer that rate but they also just let you park your car there if you book a regular rate. Don't understand the logic there, but many Dis'ers have posted that they just paid the regular rate and were allowed to park their cars at the Radisson for the length of their cruise.

Now, I would double check as policies always change, but I know they were allowing it recently.

You definately need to take two cars??? that would make your price to park $140.00 at the port for the week. Any way you could take just one car and have a friend drive the other car and bring it back home, then pick you up with the second car at the end of the cruise???

Wow, only 45 minutes away...there must be someone who could give you a lift and pick you up. Otherwise, why not try a shuttle service.

Well there are six of us, so we do not have a car that could fit us all plus luggage. And I'm thinking it's going to be $160, Leave Sat, return Sat... or do they charge by 24 hour periods, not actual days?
I am looking for a shuttle service but have yet to find one.

The rate for the same room at the Radison for the date we need was $10 more than the cruise rate. Their logic makes no sense, but we booked the cheaper rate.

Try Arts Shuttle. They serve all the Spacecoast and have a good reputation and good rates. www.artsshuttle.com

Can't help you out with names of places but we are about 45 minutes from the airport where we live and so we always get a car service. Maybe you should check with local limo services to see what they would charge. I understand there are 6 of you but limos are pretty big. Heck even if it was a wash with the cost... it would probably be fun to "arrive in style".
