Hi...I'm staying at MCO Hyatt and taking the specific Hyatt DCL bus to the port. We already have everything booked on board that we want.
There is no real need for me to check in at exactly 30 days, correct? My PAT is basically irrelevant?
I feel weird not doing so but also don't want to sit by my computer at midnight eastern and stress about this if it's not even necessary?

The only thing you'll miss out on possibly is an early early boarding group. I did my Online check in at 29 days out and we got boarding group 13.

They move through boarding groups quickly, so you should have no need to stay up to midnight to do it first chance.

There is no need to stay up late (or wake up early) to do online check-in if there's nothing you are eager to book. You can check in at your leisure, as long as you're fully checked in a few days before the cruise. (I'm not sure what's required, but you should allow some time just in case you have trouble with documents or photos.)

We always check in around 8 or 9 in the morning and the latest boarding group we ever got was 11.

If you have the HYATT DCL bus (so not the generic mco bus) you will automatically get boarding group 3 at 11am so you can disregard the info from pp about other boarding groups.
If you do care about royal gathering you may need to stay up til midnight esp if you re sailing on the wish (the fantasy should be fine cause they repeat the event three times)

Thank you for this! Worked out exactly as you described.

The 30 day thing hasn't been a priority for me, I'll get to it when I get to it. And I also have never sat at computer at midnight just to get a PAT. As long as I board before the ship leaves I'm happy. But that mentality could be because we do a lot of Disney cruises.

I will be on the Dream in 8 days and really didn't have to worry about PAT at all and staying up past midnight. Shoot me down if you will, but we are in concierge for the first time and have boarding group 1. :duck:
