NOT Another Swine Flu Thread.....

I have a Mickey waffle maker, and the kids will not eat a Mickey waffle unless I make it with a chef's hat!!! (let a bit of the batter overflow onto the space between the ears, and he has a nice chef hat)

...do you serve it with BACON???? :hyper:

Hmmmmm........

S is for the sticky syurp on them...
C is for the crunchy golden waffles...
H is for the Homemade goodness..
B is for the berry's on top
R is for the randy way you use them......

hehehehehhehehehe

:lmao:

You have WAAAAAAAAAY too much time on your hands!

:snooty:

I usually tell DH what we're having for dinner. One night he came home to find me making homemade (not Mickey) waffles and he told me, "Now I really love you." That's probably how we started getting our alphabet.

If my husband came home and found me making homemade anything, he'd put on a hard hat and wait for the ceiling to cave in.

...since this isn't REAL bacon, you can still buy this, rest-assured, with NO SF 'side-effects'...

If my husband came home and found me making homemade anything, he'd take out a restraining order and let the police know I was trying to kill him. :rotfl:

As for the Eggos Pakey, we found a few boxes in the supermarket the other day. My daughter was thrilled because there's been info on the new about an Eggo shortage because of a recall. She was willing to take her chances that the ones in our supermarket weren't lysteria infected. We fear no disease -- not lysteria, and certainly not SF.

My son had a friend come over once and he told me I made the best bowl of cheerios he'd ever eaten (his mother must have told him to be extra polite). Of course the rest of the family jumped all over that because it's the only thing I make. There's been all sorts of jokes about how I should write a cookbook full of cheerio recipes, like cheerio ke-babs, etc because I can't cook.

The thing I've never mentioned is that through my first marriage, I cooked every night. I even made homemade bread every day. I figure this is why the marriage only made it 7 years; I had to cook. I've made it 25 years on this one without cooking so I'm sticking with the plan.

I always say if I ever change jobs, I'm going in as the incompetent but polite secretary. I've seen it for years here. If you do a good job, everyone gives you work. If you act like the sweet but stupid secretary, everyone leaves you alone and gives your work to me.

Sounds like you had the same strategy Pakey, and it worked. You've just confirmed what I've known would work all along. ;)

shows the power of suggestion, last night I made pancakes with crisp bacon on the side..something different for dinner!!
