Not allowed to be "on DCL Property until 11 am???" What Gives???

I called Tiffany Town Car to confirm our 9:30 pick up and they said that DCL as of two weeks ago doesn't allow anyone on the property until 11 a.m. I asked what we were supposed to do , and was told that we would have to sit in the car...is this TRUE??? What gives? Has anyone else experienced this?

Sounds awfully strange to me. We just got back and used Happy Limo for our transportation. We got to the port a little bit after 11, and the terminal was full of people. There was no way they all could have gotten in there in 5 or 10 minutes!

That's what I thought too--I'm thinking someone from Tiffany got into trouble for parking in the bus lane too early and now they're in the dog house. grrrrrrr...

I hope we can still get Palo reservations...darn it.

I know that in the past, the port hasn't openned until sometime between 10 and 10:30 (so I could believe that their posted openning time is 11:00). And until they are ready to accept guests, your not allowed to drive up to the terminal.

When we drove to the port a couple of years ago, we showed up around 10:00 and the security guard shoed us away. We had to just drive around the general area of the port until their gates openned.

When we drove to the port a month ago, we showed up around 10:00 again, but this time the security guard allowed us to start a line of cars waiting for the port to open.

Okay, that makes a little more sense...LOL--I need to get a grip and stop stressing. I've been to Palo, so even if I don't get to go, this time, I'll be okay.

Two weeks ago we arrived at the DCL terminal around 9:30, and the security guard wouldn't let us into the lot. Since we were driving our own car, this wasn't a big deal to us -- we just zipped down to Cocoa Beach. We returned around 10:30 (lot had opened at 10:00), and we were among the first into the terminal.

On the Wonder, Palo ressies didn't start till 1, and embarkation was at 11:45, so you should be safe (spa ressies were 1 p.m. too).
