Not accepting Chats?

I went on right at 7AM and they said do to high volume they were no longer accepting chats! I pressed the button RIGHT AT 7AM.

Is this normal? I was prepared for a long wait but not an inability to get in line at all.

It let me in line at 7:11 am. I was actively trying for those 11 minutes. Glad I got in, but strange it didn’t allow it for that time.

Not intending to spam a thread, but for future refrence for others we were able to wait just under an hour for approval.

Thank you so much for posting this. I got in at 8:05 this morning, kicked out about 8:30. When I tried to rejoin it said chat was full. Based on this thread, I just kept spamming and finally got back into my chat. I will update again with my final wait time.

Thank you so much for posting this. I got in at 8:05 this morning, kicked out about 8:30. When I tried to rejoin it said chat was full. Based on this thread, I just kept spamming and finally got back into my chat. I will update again with my final wait time.

I was kicked out several times. Each time I logged back in and the chat popped up and continued as normal once I pressed the chat button again.

This even happened after the video chat while typing with the agent for pre selections.

It took one hour to get onto the video and approved.

It took another hour back and forth to book pre selections for 7 days.

Here is how my experience went today:
8:05am eastern logged in on my phone so I could work whilst waiting.
11:05 am connected to cast member. Very helpful, I explained this was the first time I had done this and he asked great questions and guided me through.
11:24 am connected to planning agent. Had my Touring Plan up and had written down my preferred two and times (be ready to be flexible, that was a little hard for me, I like my plan the way it was and I am not a flexible thinker at times)
12:16 We wrapped up 7 days of pre plan and I can say AKL was the most difficult.

*Edit FYI it will kick you out every 30min even if your in chat, super stressful if you don't know what will happen. Just back out and go back in.

If you log in right at 7 am, you might actually be getting the ‘full-high-volume‘ message from the night before which was not switched off yet.
Another possibility is that the the lines get temporarily filled right at 7 am because so many people are trying right then. As people get into chats, things might clear
