Ok...I promised my "never been to Disney, I plead ignorance" friend that I would pose this question to the "boards". Here goes:
DH, DS, and I are staying at the Poly in 2 weeks. Our best friends are staying at BC for the weekend that we are there. They recently moved to Orlando and have never been to WDW. They thought it would be fun to join us (I might regret this later) so they decided it would be easier to stay on property...why they didn't choose the Poly I will never know.
DS is 2 and will take a nap each afternoon...no biggie...we did this last year. We will come back to the room after lunch, he will nap and then we'll head out to the parks in the evenings. When he naps we will sit on the balcony and read and relax until he wakes up.
Yes, I'm getting to the point...
It has been suggested that it would be nice for our friends to come back to the room with us and then the hubbies can do nap duty and the wives can swim and then swap the duties the next day. This would be great for us because we miss our best buddies and we could get a little break in the day...but is this technically pool hopping? Would it be frowned upon?
I am always the nit picker...I can't help it. I don't like breaking rules. I do not advocate pool hopping so I don't want to cross that boundary. Everyone else says I'm making it more difficult than it has to be.
Why couldn't they have just stayed at the Poly...grrr.
