I've been married since 1982. We are considering renewing our vows in WDW. My question is regarding the officiant. We would like to have the priest who married us originally perform the ceremony. Would WDW allow this?

I was told I had to use one off their list for our wedding, but I would call and ask. It never hurts to ask, they may make an exception.

i think that depends on whether you're a custom or intimate vow renewal. i know with our custom wedding we can choose any officiant we want. i would ask your em.

Officiants: All regularly ordained ministers of the gospel in communion with some church may perform marriages. Ministers must complete a certificate of marriage on the marriage license and return it to the office from which it was issued.

Thanks. I think I will call when it gets a little closer. It's still 2yrs away. (our 25th)

hmmmm, I never asked--I had originally been told I could use my father (a NY judge) and then when I needed a priest--I just went out and found one. I just had my site visit and the SM asked who we were using--she didn't mention it had to be a certain individual...
