Well, thanks to an MS error. We had AKV GV from 11/11-11/15, BVC 2 BR from 11/15-11/19. We had a BVC 2 BR for 11/19-11/20, a dedicated but not the same as our previous 4 nights (2 queens vs queen/sleeper). We had a WL for the 14th to leave AKV one night early and switch over to BCV. We had a 2nd WL for the last night to stay in the same room instead of switching to a different 2 BR down the hall.....confusing, but stay with me here.....basically we were trying to get it to 3 nights AKV, 6 nights BCV (in one room, no switching).
So we get a confirmation that the WL for the last night came through....but YIKES....they crossed the messages, and for some reason when the night of the 19th came through at BCV to stay in the same room, they didn't cancel the other 2 BR we had as a backup for that night but instead cancelled the AKV GV for the night of the 14th! So, they had us checking out of AKV on the 14th but not checking into the BCV until the 15th! AND had us with two 2 BR's the night of the 19th. I told the MS CM that this wouldn't work, b/c we would like to be able to sleep at some point.....was put on hold for about 15 minutes and she came back to tell me that it was all squared away. So we get out of the AKV GV a night early (saving us 40 points no less!), and get our room at BCV for all 6 nights.
So two Waitlists in one day, thanks in part to human error. But I'll take it!
