You're going to love it!Great update! I can't wait to check out CSR next month![]()
Will I get to enjoy the hammock? This TR is sure chock-full of suspense, isn't it?CSR looks gorgeous! Hope you get to enjoy that hammock!
It is Kat's hammock...luckily, she's nice enough to share! That hammock is comfy!!!!
I believe that is Kathy's hammock.![]()
Yes, CSR was much more "me", that's for sure! And the bedding was way nicer than the bedding at WL.The rooms at CSR always look so nice. I always thought they were "Deluxes-In-Disguise" for the longest time. I mean, those beds are big for Moderates and look beautiful. I've seen some Deluxes with not nearly as nice beds. And, look it, you got a WATER VIEW! I think CSR understood you more than POR![]()
Oh, they were definitely working -- there was a whole team of them, with one person in charge who was clearly coordinating the whole thing...it was just so weird, though! What were those workers doing? I think that may be the strangest thing I've ever heard for Disney resort workers to be doing. I am completely befuddled. Usually, Disney resort workers are well... WORKING nonetheless.
Great tip about the corner room!Nory, if your ever at CSR again, be sure to ask for a corner room so you can have more natural light in the room. With two windows it makes for a bright and beautiful room. I love the CSR newly decorated rooms.
Can't wait to find out where Nory's eating in EPCOT.![]()
Thanks, Tina! I'm currently deciding if I can swing a quick little 2-night stay in early September, and I was thinking I'd stay at the Poly (ultimate convenience ends up pretty important when you're only there for two nights!), but now that the monorail isn't running during EMH, I'm having trouble justifying it and might just go with CSR again to save the $$$.Ooohh...I've been waiting for you get to the CSR portion of your trip!I've stayed there twice now (and as of last week) the Beach Club once and I think that CSR holds up quite well against its more expensive competition. And I, too, love the decor. It is a beautiful resort and I have a feeling, too, that part of the reason why it feels so quiet and relaxed is due to all the convention go-ers. You took such pretty pictures, too!

Just thinking about that hammock makes me want to be in it right now! What a beautiful room and resort. That hammock looks very relaxing!
I just read your whole TR and I must say it is very entertaining. I like the way your updates are arranged, I like the whole third person thing, and I LOVE your pictures. They are really breathtaking.
Did you decide to stay at three different resorts on purpose? Was that part of your research? I think its a cool thing to do. I imagine it was much easier being that you were alone and on your own schedule.
Looking forward to more!
63 days! That's not long at all!Nory took a picture of my hammock.Thank you so much Nory (63 more days until I'm in my hammock).
Nory, you got some absolutely wondeerful pictures of the CSR and I thank you for sharing them.
Nory got a great room location (one of our favorites).
Thanks, clearskies! There are many more to come...I took a ton of CSR pics the following day!Beautiful pictures of CSR Nory! You did a great job capturing the beauty of the grounds and the inside room picture looks great as well. That hammock does look soooooo inviting. Good to see you got that water view done right.
pretty pretty rooms! What holds me back from CSR is 2 things. One it's always been booked anytime I've checked. 2, it looks stinking HUGE and all that walking (if not enroute to a park) has been a bit of a deterrent to me.
Ahhhhh, CSR...so pretty. I hope you enjoyed your stay there and got time to relax in Kathy's hammock!
I could really use some hammock-time right now!
Nory, I have sad news. We will NOT be staying at CSR this trip. We got a great offer -- FREE POINTS -- to stay at Old Key West so we are trying something new.
