I'm thinking of taking DS (he'll be almost 3 on our next trip in December) to the Princess breakfast in Norway. Is that too weird?

He liked posing with Jasmine, Belle, and Princess Aurora when we were there last month, he still talks about them. I thought it would be cute, but are there any other boys at that breakfast? Or is it mostly girls? Should I care? (I guess the big question is, will DH say absolutely no way to a princess breakfast!)

Thanks!

He sounds like a boy that likes pretty girls!!!

I would take him if you want to go. My DS's first photo with a character was with Pochohantas. He said, "Wow, she is pretty".

My son who was almost three last year was "forced" to go to the Princess breakfasts with his 4 and 5 year old sisters. He LOVED them. He got lots of attention from the princesses. I even signed him up for the Wonderland Tea Party this year with his sisters because he loves the Mad Hatter. They're only little so I don't think it's wierd. DH was a tad nervous about the Tea Party but we also signed them up for the Pirate Cruise so it all evens out.

We took our DS (4) last December, along with DD (8)...DS was totally underwhelmed.

Said DS, "This is for girls. When are we going to do some BOY things?"

:p

I have the best picture of DS with a totally depressed look on his face, both cheeks covered with red lipstick kisses from the princesses!!!

There was an adorable 3 yo boy at the table next to us when we did PSB in May that totally soaked up the Princess thing. He immediately approached them when they came to the tabel, wrapped his arms around their legs, and smiled big for the camera. SOOOOOOOO cute! The princesses had a good time talking with him =)

He def won't be the only boy there! Take him!

My DS 2 1/2 dresses up with his sisters, 3 and 5, in princess costumes. What can one do? This is what the girls do ALL day, so he does too from time to time. I did get him his own dragon costume and a Captain Hook costume - and he has fun with them too. Dress up is dress up and it's fun! (He makes a darn cute Sleeping Beauty, too! LOL).

I will be bringing all three of them to the Princess Breakfasts in December and I think he'll love them! This will be just before his 3rd BD. I think he'll look for boy stuff to do, too, and I'll be planning a few surprises for him, too.

I think I've digressed...as for whether or not it's mostly girls....I think it's mostly "families." Obviously, there's plenty of girls who are taken to the princess breakfasts, but there are plently of brothers there, too! A boy wouldn't look out of place. And a young one shouldn't feel out of place.

Oh, and sometimes there's a prince or Aladin or Peter Pan at these princess breakfasts, too.

My 2 girls are going to the Tea Party. Unfortunately my son will be about 6 weeks shy of 3 years old - so he's not old enough to join them. He will be devastated, but I am going to try to take him on a monorail ride and get the front seats for him while his sisters are at the tea. I think he'd enjoy this, too!

Anyhow, hope that helps. Go and enjoy!!

Your son & husband will love the Princess Breakfast! The food is very good & plentyful, the Princesses are beautiful & make a nice fuss over the boys. princess: It's actually one of the few low key, quiet Character Meals! Enjoy!:wave2:

SnoWhite Rabbit - that's just the way it is when you have a ds who is the youngest. My dds are 5 and 6 and ds just turned four and he does whatever they do - including walking around with a tiara on his head! He'll be in preschool this year so I'm sure he'll find it different playing with more boys. The funny thing is no one bats an eye when the girls play Buzz Lightyear or other "boy" oriented things with him!

Take him & have a great time.
My son has been to CRT 2x, PSB 3x & the Cinderella supper 4x & has loved it everytime.
He loves getting attention from the princesses ;)
He was just at all 3 princess meals last month & he will be 5 yrs old next month (August)

We're taking our boys in October, just made the PS today. I think they're only little once, and I have two boys, no girls, so if I'm going to do it, they may refuse after this trip, at least the older one!

Thank you, thank you! I really think it'll be cute, plus I kinda want to go for me LOL. As for how to convince DH, I decided I'll make a PS for my birthday! So he can't refuse anywhere I want to eat on my birthday ;) So birthday breakfast is decided, now to decide on my birthday dinner....

Took my nephew in February, he LOVED it!

We are actually going back to PSB in Oct more so for my DS, who will have just turned 3, than for my DD6! Now, DD does love the princesses. Thanks to her, my DS has developed quite a crush on Snow White. My husband joked one night that Snow White would keep him as one of her dwarves. He grinned & said, "OK!" Now, he has decided that he should come home with us that that SW should give him a "wittle kiss on my cheek."

I can't wait!

Of course take your son, what's a Princess without a Prince. And Mom and Dad are the Queen and King. It's the whole royal family thing.

Count me on the "that's kind of weird" side. However, its maybe less so than if he were 5 on up.

I would think he'd enjoy one of the other character breakfasts a little more (but you know your kid better than I do).

My DH agress with you LOL, he just rolls his eyes and says whatever. We're also going to LTT, Crystal Palace, Garden Grill, and Chef Mickey's...so that covers DS' other character meals LOL. He loves the character meals (and so do we), so we always go to a bunch of them.

We're taking DS (2.5) in September. Hard to say who's more excited: DS or DH!! We're doing both PSB and CRT. Should be fun!
