Norway Is A "Frozen" Mess!

There's no way they will put them in a restaurant and make it so the only way to see them is to pay. The restaurant is almost always booked now. Can you imagine the complaints from Guests unable to get reservations to the only spot to see them?
Why not put them in Akershus if they HAVE to feature them in Norway and also set up meet and greets for them in MK like they do for the other princesses? I don't see why they should be handled any differently than other princesses except that they might need more room since they are so popular right now.

Once again, Disney was caught unaware. Disney totally blew it with Narnia. I hope, that Frozen doesn't suffer the same fate..

I must admit when I first read the title for this thread I looked out the window and thought huh? (Its about 45 degrees and raining) :rotfl: it's early and I'm tired;)

I'd bet you are completely wrong.

More people are definitely visiting the church than normal, and maybe the bakery.

I doubt Maelstrom is seeing a much higher rider throughput than normal. The line may be a bit longer now, but the ride was rarely a walk on.

Well, we have been to Disney a bunch of times and have never ridden Maelstrom........until this year when we were in Norway waiting for Anna and Elsa :) I tend to agree that a lot more people are riding it now.

Anyone know if Maelstrom is busier since the Frozen girls have come home to Norway?

Edit...Posted this question too late it seems :)

You not riding Maelstrom previously doesn't equate to nobody riding Maelstrom previously.

This is a great way to pull people away from Soarin' and TT. Cheapest 'attraction' they could ever put in Epcot. Who needs more rides when you can put a couple of people in costumes and generate 7 hour lines?

Maybe, the Maelstrom could receive an update. Possibly, a few characters scattered about?

Like I said, I hope Disney doesn't blow this Frozen opportunity.

I still say that the 3000 extra people that Iger claims were "accommodated" in the parks by FP+ were just the people in line to meet Elsa and Anna. :rotfl:

I agree, I just didn't actually say that very well. If they moved them into Akershus, they'd have to be available to meet somewhere else as well - just not in Norway!

Norway has always been a bit of a mess, with people lingering about for Akershus reservations and trying to get through that crowd to get to Malestrom.

I can't imagine the chaos now that the Frozen Meet and Greet has been added. It needs to be moved, no doubt about it. There are so many other suitable places it could go, but nothing has been done.

Anna and Elsa are very popular. Why not give them a fabulous space where the lines can be dealt with more efficency.

While Norway suits them, I think more space is the key.

I personally think that Disney didn't think that Frozen would be THIS insanely popular. Now that the see the love people have for it, we will be seeing Anna and Elsa in a brand new pavilion somewhere.....quite possibly in Epcot AND DHS.
Fingers crossed.

Apparently it takes a long time and a lot of training to get a face character ready, at least in the case of the princesses.

Maybe they could relieve some of the pressure if the put Olaf & Sven fuzzy characters in the parks.

That's a shame, Norway one also one of my favorites. Hopefully the popularity of "Frozen" will die down soon, and we'll get our Norway back.
