Norway food?

Can anyone tell me who the current princesses are here. We are thinking of adding it to our ADR's. DD6 loves Ariel and I had heard she was here. I would much rather catch her here then have to stand in "the line". Thanks!

My understanding is that Akershus still has the Koldtbordt, but the lunches and dinners are ordered off a menu

Oh I hope so. I miss the days, however, when it was just a restaurant like the rest in WS, and not a princess meal... but oh well, I digress. Two very vocal sons against princesses have swayed my opinion. They "have to" suffer through them now with their sister at that "ripe age" for princess-dom! :lmao:

It varies, but when we went last May we saw Snow White, Belle, Jasmine, Aurora, and Mulan. I heard that Ariel is sometimes there. I feel like she should host the meal, since she is Scandanavian (her statue is in harbor in Copenhagen...)

Ariel typically only appears for lunch and dinner. She will usually not be there for breakfast per Disney Dining.

I am a little confused by this. I thought Akershus had a typical WDW kid's menu (hot dog, pasta, cheese pizza), but at 1900 PF, the kids could eat anything on the buffet -- including all of the choices available to adults?

There is a childrens menu for lunch and dinner. We had lunch there last Oct and thought it was wonderful. I had a BBQ pulled pork sandwich, not very Norwegian but it was the smallest thing on the menu and I was tired of eating (It was pur last day). DH had the Kj????? something, I tried a bite an it was good. We are going back this year and again its our last day. I think its a value compared to CRT

We went there last year for dinner and needless to say, we will most likely not be returning. We did not like the food, it came in very small portions and wasn't as tasty and seasoned as we usually like our foods. It was very pretty inside though, I do recommend the ambiance and the princesses were beautiful! I have 2 sons and they gave them just as much attention as they would if they were girls, kisses on cheeks and all.
