Has anyone done this and had a good experience? The reviews on allears.net seem to be less than stellar but I thought it would be a fun thing for my daughter to do.

To add to this question, does the price listed ($29 per person) just cover admission or does this include the full meal?

We did the breakfast because the nieces did not like the dinner menu and on the plus side it was cheaper.

The Princess interaction was wonderful, the kids had the time of their lives and almost a year later they remember the time they had bacon with Ariel!

This was my review from May. This dinner was a surprise for my DD5.

The Castle in Norway was beautiful!! We were seated in less than 2 mins. We walk in and she gets her picture taken with Ariel- she is so excited that she saw Ariel.. We get seated right next to the door where the princesses come out of so when Princess Aurora came out I thought my DD was going to fall out of her chair she was so surprised. Then came Belle, Jasmine and finally Mulan. Each of the prnicesses took their time signing her autograph page and taking pictures. They were wonderful!!! I have never seen her eyes light up the way they did that night. The fireworks after dinner (dinner was at 7:50pm) were spectacular and they started just as we walked out from dinner the view was amazing. That was the most magical night of our trip. As we were leaving my DD5 grabbed my hand and brought me down to her, gave me a hug and kiss and said "you did good mom" that was such a special moment.

Okay on to the food because I did not know what to expect.. Our waitress was wonderful. We told her we had no idea what to order and she explained everything to us and also told us we could substitue.. so I ordered the poached cod with cheddar mashed potatoes instead of horseradish potatoes. My DH ordered the Pasta with marina sauce instead of the Pesto sauce (very picky eater) and DD5 ordered Pizza which she barly touched because she was just so excited. We started out with the appitizer buffet which was not that great. It did have salad, cheeses, lunch meat, cold fish, and bread I know it was a Norway dinner but I was hoping the buffet would be a little bit on the traditional American side. The food was okay but I would do this dinner again for the Character experience especially if you have children who love princesses.
Service gets an A+
Characters get an A+
Food gets a B

The only reason that we are not going on our next trip is because we are going to have lunch at the castle with the Princesses. I can only hope it is just as magical.
