Would like to try the Princess breakfast in Norway on my upcoming trip. How is the food? What about the service? Which princesses are usually there? Do they sign autographs? How is the interaction? What time is the first ADR?

Their breakfast food is my favorite meal of all their meals. It's similar to CRT really. I love the cinnamon rolls.

Service was great each time we ate there.

Usually, it's Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Jasmine, Mulan and Belle (in her yellow gown) is usually the greeter at the door for a photo package at breakfast while Ariel is usually the greeter for lunch and dinner with Belle circulating in her blue peasant dress. Others have reported seeing Alice, Cinderella, Mary Poppins and Pocahontas but they are usually just fill ins and not there on a regular basis.

Yes, they all stop and say hi, pose for photos and sign autographs.

It is our favorite princess meal because there are several princesses, the food is fine and it's cheaper than CRT!

Thanks for the review! How does it work? I mean is it a buffet, order stuff, do they make omlets????? What did you have that you liked?
Thanks for the 20 questions.

We don't like this one, and we'll never be back :sad2:

Our character interaction was not great (they were very rushed) and the seating is so cramped, that it's hard to have everyone get out of there seats to take a good picture (at least where we were seated). I didn't love the food, and I didn't love the atmosphere. I don't regret trying this place, but I do regret choosing it over the CRT that year.

We won't be back!! :sad2:

We took our 2 nieces and had the first seating, 8:30 am. We were the first ones in the park and the girls received a free stroller and 2 free crowns. We made our way to Norway, Epcot in the morning without a soul in sight is beautiful. We arrived at Norway at 8:20 and were seated asap.

The girls had their picture taken with Belle in her yellow gown, she was great with the kids and did not rush them off, instead she talked to them alot and gave out many hugs.

THey sat us in the left rear of the restaurant, across from the kitchen. There is a brown wood door next to our table and that is where the princesses come out of. First was Aurora, then Mulan and finally Ariel! My 3 year old niece was beside herself with excitement. I think there was one more Princess to come but after seeing Ariel the little one was ready to go, no one else compares in her opinion!

The food was very good. Our waiter was super attentive and made sure all the juice glasses were kept full as well as our coffee. The first platter was bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and hash brown casserole. I went to the buffet and got us all fruits, cheeses, pastries etc, again all was very good. We had 2 platters and before we left DH asked the waiter to get us one more, I looked at him like he was nuts and he said for the price we are paying for this meal and the kids are not eating I am going to pig out! Needless to say he did not eat for the rest of the day and the girls were hungry and hour later! The kids were so enthralled with the Princesses that they hardly touched their food!

If we go back with the kids I will book this for breakfast in a heartbeat!

We had s similar experience except we had a 10am seating. We arrived at Epcot and it was desserted! We strolled over to Norway and we were one of the first to check in for our seating. We had our pic with Belle and then were seated. There is a large buffet with pastries and fruit and then you are served eggs and so forth family style. They did serve a second tray of eggs that were different than regular scrambles egss and they were not so tasty! So consider yourself warned! They must be some type of Norwegian eggs! :scared1:

The Princesses were awesome! They really interacted with DD. The place is not so big and since there are a few princesses going around, you really don't wait too long to see them.

We are going back in Dec 2008 and we gave our DD a choice. We did CRT and Norway on our last trip and she can choose one or the other for our next trip. She chose the Norway breakfast without hesitation. Bonus for us because I would not want to use 2TS again for CRT!

We've gone twice and LOVED it. I even drug my inlaws there last year =)

Great character interaction both times (we're all adults, too) and hot fresh food. We get the last reservation of the day so we can make it brunch and have never felt rushed.

The food comes out on plates to share with the table - you can ask for more of anything you'd like. All you can drink beverages, too.

Some of our favorite pictures of my FIL are from that breakfast. I think he liked Jasmine the best ;)

I've done it once, and I found it ok. The service was fine, but food was just so-so. The characters there were Snow White (in the lobby), Mary Poppins, Mulan, Jasmine, and Pocahontas. And yes, they do sign autographs.

The hot meal is brought to the table, but there is also a buffet with muffins, fruit, ect.

More often than not, Belle in her yellow gown will be the one for picures, rarely is it someone else.

Not true.

Ariel was the greeter for lunch and dinner on several occasions with Belle in her yellow gown as the greeter for breakfast. Of course, subject to change but that is the norm.

Actually Belle is the princess who is SUPPOSED to be there for every meal, trust me

Yep, Belle is almost always there, however, she is usually there in her yellew gown at breakfast and in her blue peasant dress at lunch and dinner, of course, there's never any guarantees.

When Ariel is the greeter, then Belle is usually circulating in her blue peasant dress.

When Belle is the greeter, then she is in her yellow gown.

Thank you for your inputs. Have never done this before and am a pretty picky eater, so I thought breakfast would be the best bet here.

Thanks again!!

This was my first character breakfast and we loved it. Belle did the greeting at the door. We had Aurora, Snow White, Mulan and Jasmine.

The food was good, although nothing special. We did love the potato casserole. We had a good table with no one on top of us. We said we better eat alot for the price we were paying.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it. Am on the deluxe dining plan, so I'm giving some places a try that I would not necessarly pay for out of pocket.

ok, Belle is the greetr in her yellow dress ALL day long, if she isnt th egreeter, then i can guarantee she isnt there.

Is there any type of Mickey waffles/pancakes. My kids do not eat eggs and we have this planned for July. Thanks

Well, that's weird because the two times I ate there for lunch, it was Ariel as the greeter and Belle in her blue peasant dress circulating.

There is a CM who is 'friends' with Cinderella (Tink22) who posts here and she has posted on more than one occasion that the schedule is Belle in her yellow gown as the greeter for breakfast and Ariel as the greeter for lunch and diner with Belle in her blue dress circulating (subject to change, of course).

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. :)
