I heard the food is pretty bad. Anyone has experience with it? how does it compare to the Germany buffet?

And about the princesses, compare to Hall of fame princesses, which are prettier? Which has more princesses?

Thanks!

The food is ok.It is Norwegian food, so if you are not into that tyoe of food you won't like it.As for the princesses, they are just as pretty. When we went we had Belle as greeter in the lobby, Mulan, Sleeping beauty, Snow White and Jasmine

I heard these princesses are also at various pavilions. Does it worth the $$$ to have a lunch there or rather take pictures at hall of fame/pavilions?

We were there last Sept. and I thought the food was great !!!

I had the Sautéed Chicken Breast, but I could have filled up on the yummy appetizers...

Our waiter was awesome ..!!

Ariel was a tad bit shrill with the "hello humans" but she went away :worship:

A must do at Disney **** 4 stars

I didn't like the food, was satisfied by making myself a sandwhich from the coldboard buffet. It was an expensive sandwhich but worth it with how much my daughter enjoyed the princesses. Found the princesses were so much more outgoing and visited longer than at CRT. Worth it for the kids and hubbs liked the food anyways. I did end up booking it again because of this.

Well...You need to decide that for yourself. At the character meals they spend quite a bit of time with you and your table. They come to you.At the meet and greets you are waiting in lines, sometimes very long lines and long wait times. They do spend time with you, but the feeling to us was alot more rushed thru than the meals.

I went to Akershus for dinner and LOVED it!!!! The food was probably a 7.5 out of 10 - not the greatest I've had at Disney but certainly not the worst! The cold buffet was terrific! My son got all the shrimp he could eat and he was in heaven :cloud9: He loves shrimp and he could eat as much as he wanted. This alone paid for the cost of the meal BUT of course there was lots more! The kids had the ravioli and I actually ate a bunch of their meal since they filled up on the buffet. But my husband got the Kjottkake and I got the salmon and both were good! The desserts were great!!! As for the princesses, they were so awesome. They came to the table and all of us got a chance to talk to them and take pictures. And you get a FREE photo of your family with a princess as well (taken when you walk into the restaurant). We used dining credits and it was totally worth it. GREAT PRINCESS interaction - and Ariel was there in her blue dress!!!!!
