Hi,

I booked my flights through Northwest a few weeks ago. I went on their website to check my flight number and noticed that they are all Delta flights? My question is, do I go to the Delta or Northwest Terminal, ticket counter, gate??? Very confusing to me.

Same here. My NWA flight for March Break I booked over 9months ago and I checked mine to book seats--Mine is also now a Delta flight. I am assuming
that this means going to a Delta counter.

I use delta/nwa all the time..

they have merged. Now just go to the delta desk. if you have points card for these 2 companies, they have merged the points card also.

Nothing has really changed but the names over the desk..

Something that we found out the other day:

If you had selected seats when you booked the NWA flight, you may want to check your seat selection again. Our original seat selection got dropped when the flight number changed from NWA to Delta. Good thing we checked as we may otherwise be stuck with seats that we view as "less than optimal".

Thanks. Last time we flew out of Detroit, NW had their own terminal. I would assume that is where we will still go? How confusing.
I checked my flight number on the e ticket and it is a Delta flight. I can't book the seats for a few days though. I am hoping they don't change my times too!!!!

I just checked my flight times and seat. nothing has changed. :thumbsup2

This will be my 1st time having a stop over in Detroit, so i cant say. From what i have seen in the last 6 months while flying to the midwest a few times. They were just changing the name to delta. The whole switch over is suppose to be done soon.

from Detroit website
Detroit, MI DTW Delta moved to NWA location, changed to Delta name, all departures are at the McNamara Terminal Complete

is the Detroit terminal huge? I have 45 minute stop over..

McNamara terminal is not huge and there is a SkyTrain that travels from one end to the other in about 3 minutes if you find you are in a rush. The kids like to ride it just for the fun of it when we are killing time, but it is not a long walk either. There are a reasonable number of shops/restaurants as well if you have the time or need to grab a bite.
