Northwest added non-stop from IND to MCO

I was reading here recently that someone was looking for a morning non-stop flight from IND to MCO on Northwest. Previously they have just had a late afternoon one.

Well, I was checking on prices for my November trip and there is now a 7:25 am flight also!

I was looking for flights from DTW to MCO and Northwest is trying to promote the Indy flights by reducing the Detroit fares if your willing to connect in Indy. Another idea for you Motowners

I saw this. Of course it was 3 days after I booked our flights!! I called NWA to ask if there would be a fee to switch to the am flight (I knew there would be). Of course there was a fee ($100 + the difference in ticket cost). I told the woman that I really wanted a morning flight but there wasn't one when I booked 3 days before. She insisted that the am flight had been on the schedule for that day (6/19/05) for many months. I KNOW that it wasn't an option, since I researched our flight options thoroughly. Oh well, I'll be in WDW for 12 days, what's a few less hours....... it's a few less hours at WDW, that's what it is!!!

For us that fly out of IND we might keep an eye on AirTran. They are advertising many new flights out of IND starting I believe in April.

I'm considering Southwest. I wish they hurry and bring out the schedule for Oct.
