I'm going to be cancelling this cruise.....

I just got confirmed for a TA discount on Norwegian Cruise Lines for the BALTICS this April (4/28-5/10)......can't pass it up....put it this way (comparing it to DCL) I have an oceanview room for 2 people for 1/4th of the DCL cost for an inside..... it's less that 1/2 of MY 1/2 (for both of us).

I'll do research though for you.....please don't be mad at me

Do you know anything about The Churchill Hotel?

I've not stayed there but took a quick look at trip advisor and it doesn't look too good .....

Weather here freezing today, glad we're tucked up in the house, though Jack did have me playing out in the garden for a few hours this morning. He's happing watching Walt Disney Singalong from Fort Wilderness at the moment Wish I could get more of those, had to record it from an old vhs tape ....

Here's a couple of the photos I took last week, one from the White Cliffs and one from Dover Castle looking towards the cruise terminal - it wasn't good weather but I couldn't resist

Just in the bottom right of the first picture is the Premier Inn which is the only hotel I've actually stayed at in Dover .....

Thanks for the pixs! I checked the Premier Inn and it looks good. I also have checked the Loddington House Hotel and may stay there for the atmosphere.

How could we be mad at you, Monica!??? TBH my very own husband has his mind on fiscal things and seriously is questioning the OTT cost of this cruise... I hope you have a marvellous time - are you coming to the UK at all???

We are most likely!!! No hurry as yet to cancel though, just in case DCL do something wonderful to entice us to stay!!!

Also it is a very big step as I so wanted to do this cruise and fellow cruisers seem so nice.

I figured you might. Hopefully you won't because you'll never get to be on the 1st DCL cruise to the Baltics again! I figure if they offer a special it will be like the TA in 2007. Cat 12s were offered for a very cheap price. It would be nice if they just lowered the prices of all the cabins!
