Cold here too. We didn't have any snow last night, but we did have some ice which made getting into work a bit of a pain. At least it's supposed to start warming up now.

Just cold here! It sure has gotten slow on here the past few days. Everyone must be busy for the holidays. I had to get new tires today so I ran some errands and got a backpack for our trip. It's a pacsafe one. Tomorrow is going to be busy. Brent has a swim meet and then his piano recital and then we get to babysit. I'm thinking going to a movie might be good by then.

I got Jason new tires for Christmas. That's one of the things he wanted for the Jeep, so I got them.

Does anyone think that since DCL has 3 hotels that they will be using in London that they have already booked the rooms? Or will they book them as needed and if not available tell the person that the room is not available? Just wondering when I should try and book a room since I am probably going to stay at one of these hotels.

I think you can wait a while but why not book it now it does not cost anything does it?

Hello all. My name is Chris and I'm ArizonaRita's DH.

I added pre-cruise nights to our reservation in November, and when I did, they only had availability at the Park Plaza. I talked to them earlier this week, and that's still the only hotel that has availability. Even by Disney standards, the price Disney is charging is outrageous (over $1000 a night, which is 3x to 4x what the hotel charges for June 2009).

I'm curious to know if anyone else booked pre-nights, and if so, did you get the Grosvenor House or Renaissance Chancery Court? I don't know if those are really full at this point, or if they just aren't actually weren't opened for reservations yet.

Since the euro is so unpredictable, I figured it was safest to book it, knowing it's there at a fixed cost if the exchange rate goes crazy, but hoping that either Disney will reprice it or that I'll be able to book something better when those dates are available.

Morning Kids,just in from a 5K race all went well, getting ready for WDW in a few weeks.
PC and we are suposed to get soem winter weather tomorrow, as always the day I fly to Detroit, will be there to teach a class.

Peter did you and others fair OK with the winter storms in the NE.

I'm selling my Auburn stuff! JJ is destroying us piece by piece. He hired Chizik as our new coach. He only won 2 games last year and 3 the year before! At least Tubby won 5 this year.

I think they book a block of rooms. I know before the TA my parents booked a room with DCL, but DCL had already run out of their initial rooms and had to book more at another hotel.

The fan base is livid at Auburn. They met the plane with boos for our "wonderful" AD. I think we have lost all sense of reasoning!!! The poll is runing about 85% against him. I would hate to be his family coming into this mess.

I imagine we'll just book through DCL since it makes things easier, even if it does cost more. We haven't really talked about it yet.

I don't blame them for being livid. The guy has a 5-19 2 year record at Iowa State.

Saw Scott off to Denver at 6am. Catching up here. Currently is 8.5 below 0, wind at 20 mph which makes the wind chill off the chart for my weather station, I think that means below 20 degrees below 0. It started snowing just as Scott left, hope he makes it to Denver before snow gets bad, and that his plane is not delayed too much.

Yesterday was a beautiful day for our 5K race!

We have been seeing pictures of ice storm in New England. Hope everyone up there is safe and warm!
