It's a DVD with all our ports. Lots of info but I haven't watched all of it. Are you still at the airport or are you home?

I am home. With a lovely souvenier of a sinus infection turning into Bronchitis Fortunately it was the last full day there that I got sick.

Marilyn - I missed you at the Mega Mouse meet. Ann & Albert went looking for you to introduce us, but you had left.

I did get to meet LisaG on Saturday. Always nice to put a face with a name.

There are a few updates I need to do. Hopefully I will feel up to it in a few days.

Yesterday turned out to be a really nice day, high in the 30's - I managed 6 miles with the dogs, pace was not too bad either, I did keep ahead of the sweepers! Looks like it will be a nice day today also - a little better than tomorrow, so I have decided to attempt the 20miler today I just need it to warm up a little bit!

I didn't go to the Toy Story Mania meet. But from what I hear it was a blast! My friend John - Towncrier and his family went on many times! His daughter actually was lining people up in the registration line

Still stuffed up, but lasted the whole day at work There was a major water main break in the city today. Actually a few blocks from my office. So a bit of excitement in the city. Many thousands of residents are on a boil alert until tomorrow afternoon.

I may get some pics uploaded today to Photobucket... we shall see

Good Morning Cruisers!

Well, I did not make the 20 miles yesterday, I did get in 11 miles – the first loop (I have to stop back at home to use the facilities, get more water and drop off dogs), and did not get back out for the second. The cough does not bother me much when walking, after a short coughing fit at the beginning of my walk, I did not cough the rest of it! Once I got home, I realized that I was really cold, on the last mile against the wind, my eyeballs froze, they hurt and I was having trouble seeing! The temp was 33 degrees, winds 13 – 17 mph, wind chill of 15 degrees. I guess that is too cold to spend 3 hours out in! I guess I will have to attempt my 20miler on the treadmill – but I go so slowly on the treadmill, it will probably take me over 7 hours to finish!

Yesterday ended up being cooler than predicted, today is supposed to be in the 20's with some snow - but it is currently sunny. It will be really cold over weekend, with Saturdays and Sunday's high in the single digits!

Debbie - more for your sinus infection and bronchitis!

Jeanne - good luck with your 20miler! Hope you are more successful than I was! Hope your weather will be good for you also.

Nice and warm here - 65 degrees. Suppose to be warmer tomorrow so that will be nice. Now if it will stop raining!

Same here. The temps for this time of year are just insane. It's not supposed to be in the 60's/70's the week before Christmas.

I was up early, I was supposed to leave by 8:30 to get Scott at Denver airport at 10:30, last I heard, he was still on the runway at Detroit! Haven't gotten a text message for awhile, so he may be in the air now. He has missed his connection from Minneapolis/St Paul to Denver, so now I do not know when he will be in.

Supposed to get up to 40 degrees here today, then in single digits tomorrow and Sunday, but back up to 40 by Christmas day!

Hey that is a heat wave!! It is 32 degrees here, which is not good. We are in a mix of freezing rain/sleet/snow. Really we need it to drop a few degrees so we only have snow (which is better than ice) or go up a few degrees so it is only rain. I am betting on the drop.

We are looking at the cold temps for Christmas here.

Hope Scott gets home sometime this year! Did anyone see the snow in Vegas! A friend lives there (used to live here) and just had to laugh. In one area they got 10 inches of snow. Closed the airports and it was going to be several days before all the flight cancellations were caught up.

They were showing Detroit on Good Morning America this morning. Didn't look good up there. Hopefully he finally made it off the ground.
