It is raining here today. Which makes it hard to get my 9 month old Cockapoo to make a potty outside. Ughh! We had a long, very dry summer in which she got used to dry grass and now she acts like the wet grass is covered with acid.

I have two cats, one of which plays chase with the dog. They take turns chasing each other and seem to be having loads of fun. But it is the first time I have ever seen a cat chase a dog!

Tammy, my cat had a nighttime routine with each of the dogs I had. When I'd get up from the TV room to head to bed, the dog would always get a 'cookie' before bed. The cat would be waiting for us, in 'stalking' mode somewhere in the living room. I'd give the dog his treat then head to bed and wait for the action. Soon there would be thundering footsteps down the hall and I'd never know which one would be chasing the other into the bedroom. They'd both jump on the bed and lie down! Wacky animals!

We got a puppy at the beginning of a long snowy spell with the snow lying for ages. He got used to going on snow, so when the snow began to melt we had to go and find areas in sheltered places that hadn't melted!! He did manage in the end to do the right thing though.

Good Morning cruisers!

Still windy and cold, but neither as extreme as yesterday, wind down to 25 mph, temp up to 35 degrees. Never even left house yesterday, but did get some of my projects in the basement done. Today is packing up for weekend trip (it is amazing how much time it takes to put together a weekend trip!), cleaning the house, and maybe getting in a short dog walk.
