Man you guys are talkative! It's taken me an hour to read everything since my last post! We are going to totally exceed the post limit on this thread WELL before the cruise! LOL :rotfl:

Trying to catch up, but can't go back and quote each and every post...Here it goes!

I would love to participate in the Scrapbook swap/class/whatever we decide. I typically do 12x12 albums, but I also do 8x8 albums as "gift albums" Maybe we can come with a theme, and each do a page for it. Like, something for each port, or each day, or a place on the ship, a page for each letter of the alphabet? Just some ideas to toss around until we sail!!

I had read a really good travel book on Northern Europe when we were doing research to do a Baltic cruise, but I can't remember the book name right now. It was very good. I'll try to find out and let you all know!

Can we try and plan a DIS stateroom tour while we are on board? Sounds like we have people in ALL the different type rooms/suites and I'd love to be able to see the differences in person instead of just in pictures! What do you guys think?

Love the Mini-Navigator idea! I also think we should maybe just do "secret mickey's" to limit the stuff we have to lug around in our bags! Maybe just keep the FE to food or other "disposable/edible" items we would need during the trip? Just a thought!

Can't wait to really get to know you all!! DO we really have to wait 600 more days?:rotfl:

If anything important is said it will be posted on the 1st page or on Debbie's page. I think we all kinda decided to switch cabins and do a little something for it. I know my dgs looks forward to the fe gifts so I will take gifts for whoever I have, but bring trinkets and candy to put in ours daily so he gets a little something daily. It will take a lot less room than bringing gifts for 100+ rooms!

Hi All,

Been a crazy week at work so we haven't had a chance to post here before now. Both Dale (DW) and I were at a scientific conference the begining of the week so had to relie on TA (Thanks Tracy :worship:) to brave the craziness on reservation Tuesday. It's hard to sit in meetings all day not knowing what was happening.

The news was good, both this cruise and the Barcelona-Dover repo in the same cabin. :cool1: :cool1:

Looks like this is turning into another DIS reunion cruise, there's a lot of familiar names on this thread.  Can't wait to see everyone again.

Scott - do they make grass skirts in kilt plaid??? :lmao: :lmao:

Bob & Dale (and yes, Gordy will be there)

I was thinking the same thing, but from the time it was booking day for the PC repo beginning of 2008 until the cruise, it was close to 600 days, like 550 or something like that, and it flew by...I am pretty sure with all the preparations etc it should go by fast!

This will be the THIRD cruise we have been on together, I think one of the only ones that went on the EB transatlantic and the EB PC cruise, and I still don't think I have met you! :confused3 I bet you will look familiar though.
We have similiar great tastes in cruise dates! :thumbsup2

I looked at that book but decided to get Cruise Guide to Europe. I just ordered the DVD, it looked interesting. Thanks!

Count me in for the FE :) Just need to get one made up at some point!

Claire ;)

You would be surprised at how many people call us that. When we play Buzztime together, that's our sign-in name. STEVA

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: It's like my daughter and her fiance - at school they were known as (and we still call 'em) Jophie - Joe and Sophie... :rotfl:

...When Steve's Dad was alive, we used to call him and Steve:

"Frank N Steve"

It was a pretty funny personal joke with the whole family. They were both so much alike and both could be real monsters if you got on their wrong side. Luckily they both mellowed with age. But Steve's brothers and sisters used to say, "Oh no, here comes Frank N Steve." whenever they would both get on a roll together.

Love it!!! I won't be able to look at Steve the same now...

That's an interesting idea! I would like to get a feel for other stateroom options...

I like the Secret Mickey idea too... :thumbsup2

Hello! Glad you were able to get what you wanted... :goodvibes

Just been looking at travel books as well! If anyone is thinking of doing Copenhagen, Oslo or Stockholm themselves then the popout maps would be ideal for getting around with. I have loads of these maps, for places we have visited, and they are easy to carry in a pocket or small bag :)

Claire ;)

Afternoon, people! Just returned home after a crazy morning and on my doorstep was this...

Having a little look and only place that doesn't feature is Warnemunde. It's an interesting starting point anyway and has plenty of other ports I'll be visiting over the next couple of years... :goodvibes :thumbsup2

I need to get this book. The DK books are my favorites, because they have so many pictures and great layout maps. I always couple a DK book with a Frommers or Fodor's, because they have more info.

Me too, my husband thinks I have an addiction to them. I have them for places I haven't even been to. :confused3 :lmao:

I think the secret santa sounds good. :thumbsup2

If we still wanted to do the fish extenders aswell then we could split into smaller groups say 10 - 15 rooms, possibly on the same deck? I haven't done it before so not sure if that would work?

Leave you kids alone and look what ya do LOL!!!!!

Actually looking at a Kaki Kilt Frat for this cruise and post running events at WDW and DL. Too cool up there for the grass skirts, but we have several days to get thsi figured out.
