A little off topic but I had to share:Its too early for airfare, but this is what we did 6 years ago when I booked the British Isles cruise on Princess leaving from Southampton. I told DH I booked and he said, good now we can go to DLP. What? DLP is in France not England.
I booked Continental from EWR to CDG airport, took the Disney bus to DLP and stayed at Hotel New York for 2 nights. Took the Eurostar back to London. Stayed at the Marriott on points right next to the Big wheel, and the train station. The morning of the cruise, we took the train to Southampton. After the cruise, we took the train back to London, stayed 2 more nights at a hotel near Gatwick. Took the train into the city, saw "Mary Poppins"......Had a blast. It was our "25th" wedding anniversary. So I splurged. In 2010 we will be married 33 years, but $$$ is tight, don't know about splurging this time. There is a Eurostar stop in Dover...
Honey, DLP is not in England, it is in France....

Out TA says that cat 4 & 6 are now GTY.....and it looks like it will be a full ship

We've had Brent for our two Disney cruises.....would kinda miss him if we had somebody else...so the others are Rachael and Christan (sp) ???

Congrats Marilyn on achieving a non lifeboat cabin this time...

:lmao: I will be an old Git by the time we sail though :lmao:

Well we're always open to new members!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We will be really old geezers by then!!!:scared1: :rotfl:

That sounded a lot of fun.:)

Hi everyone! Had an absolutely manic day today :scared: and only just had a chance to check-in!

So our cruise details are as follows:

CustardTart # 8000
Karen
DH Richard

Oh and have I mentioned it's my 47th birthday on June 22nd 2010!!! ;) :rotfl2: :woohoo: party:

Depending on your taste there is plenty of history around Kent and Dover area. Dover Castle (English Heritage) is well worth a visit if you like that sort of thing and well preserved. Leeds Castle supposed to be the most beautiful castle in the world not far away and many others such as Hever Castle and Ightham Mote all well worth a visit.

YAY!!!! It would not be a cruise without Linda aboard!!

For 2 adults - Cat 10 - no transfers, no air no insurance - $7955

Debbie

Debbie, are you and your mom coming? I sure hope so. How was your mom's birthday. I got my card off in the mail (a little late), but hope she got her 65 cards!

I am so happy to see some old friends and looking forward to some new ones!

Was playing around tonight and started a simple web page to keep track of all of our cruise friends. I am willing to keep the list. Right now it is a simple list of a few folks.

As we plan and go forward I will add other things. I am not a web designer by any stretch of the imagination! But I try and if someone else wants to take it on that is fine too :)

Here is the page: http://www.wideopenwest.com/~epcotkilterfan//MagicalBaltic/MagicalBalticCruise.htm

And I have created an email address: magicalbalticcruise@yahoo.com If you would like to be added to the page please send me an email. I will try my hardest to keep up with what is on the boards, but to ensure listing please email me. :surfweb:

Can't wait to start the planning!

Debbie

Yeah! Okay, just answered my own question!

Ok, right now we have two Cat. 5's and are waitlisted for a Cat. 1 or 2, crossing my fingers for the 1 or 2. Waitlist fairy where are you?:wizard: But at least we're definately going.

I love the idea of scrapbooking swap. I'm more of a scrapbooker "wanna-be". I've only managed to make a few pages but I certainly love to BUY scrapbooking stuff! :rotfl: We recently went on a cruise with another line and they have a scrapbooking class. They handed out everything you needed to make for one scrapbooking page - including a cruise ship, luggage, the cruise line logo, etc. I wish Disney would do something similar.

I hope that everyone else dealing with TA issues, waitlists, etc. gets their hearts desire! :wizard:

Debbie - thanks for the web page!

Sue

Well, I'd be willing to do the scrapbook class again. We will most likely do a tabletop book (6 x 6), 14 pages in length, you will get all the supplies for the class and we will do it on a sea day. It will be based around the theme for the cruise. You will pre-sign up for the class before the cruise when it gets closer. For those that have done the class before, feel free to chip in and let everyone know if you want me to do this again.

Yes, yes, yes, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!! Last time I was on a cruise with you, I couldn't go (geesh, I don't even REMEMBER why now, but I'm sure it had something to do with DD). I definitely don't want to miss it this time!!!

Sue

I remember why now... something about getting ready for a wine tasting party in the suite!

After first planning on going, then seeing the posted prices and sadly deciding "no", I went on-line yesterday and booked a cat. 11--just couldn't stand to miss this opportunity. I have wanted to travel Northern Europe for some time and my DW was not interested but would do so on DCL. The other lines may be less $$$ but the only way I was getting there was on this cruise.

Our traveling party is:

Nicholas,
Lori, DW,
Matthew, DS, 14, (will turn 15 on 6/16/10)
Megan, DD, 12

We are in 6055--the same cabin we have for Thanksgiving 2009 cruise and directly across from our cabin for the EB PC Repo, 6054. I guess we are just creatures of habit.
