Pittsbugh reporting in.....we bathe at least once a day sometimes more. Clean everything each time, towels, socks, undies etc.

I can't imagine wearing socks more than once.

Every day and if going out at night, will shower again!

Like My Daddy used to say, "You ate yesterday?, you ate today? Nough Said!" "Go Shower!"

One of the first jobs I had, there was a co-worker who never bathed (or at least smelt like it!) When I left that job, I asked him why? He said, "Just to bug the others!" EWWWWW!

Scratch
:smooth:

A few hours south of the Canadian border here.
Every day is the norm!
:teeth:

At least once a day.....it's the only way I can wake up. When I was a child in the fifties, it was once a week on Saturday night. School dresses were worn 2 days in a row with underthings changed daily.

I will say here that I was shocked because to be honest other than the one time with the feet I have never noticed him to smell...and believe me I smell everything (which is usually a burden). Thanks for the responses...this is going pretty much the way I knew it would.

I live in the south but was born and raised in NW Indiana. Every morning here and if it's a hot day or we're going out then we take two. DH does the same. New socks and underware every shower.

Can't beat Minnesota for "north" or "cold", but I can tell you, we definately bathe daily, and sometimes more than once a day! How old was this fellow? I know my 80 YO Dad and 90 YO MIL don't bathe daily, but they weren't brought up that way either.
And not changing socks daily!!!! EEEEWWWWWW! I hope he changes his underwear daily!

Another Indiana post a daily shower in the winter and sometimes 2x a day in the summer. I do know my parents and in-laws usually go ever other day, except my dad because he goes to the gym everyday and showers there. I know when we got married my in-laws had never heard of anyone that washed their hair everyday. They wash their hair once a week. My dh now washes his everyday and our kids do too. Even when dds hair was down to her waist we washed it everyday.

All of us shower daily and change all clothing as well. My father, who lives with us, is another story! He is 84 and he said the dermotologist told him he shouldn't shower daily because his skin is so dry and thin. I can accept that, but he usually wears the same clothes again...and again....and again! I do the laundry he places in his hamper. Some weeks, there will be 7 boxers and t-shirts, 7 pairs of socks, but only a couple shirts and IF I'm lucky, a pair of pants! Ick!!!:bounce: He yells at me that I do too much laundry for my family and there is NO need for us or the kids to not wear their jeans or shirts more than once. NOT in this lifetime! :Pinkbounc

Bathe/shower at least daily ... in the summer, depending on the heat, maybe more than once a day! I cannot stand B.O., especially my own! :o  ALL clothing is changed DAILY. I cannot imagine re-wearing something from yesterday -- even socks.

in the summer i generally shower every day, occassionally i will shower every other day if i haven't been out running around or whatever.

in the winter, i only shower every other day. if i shower every day in the winter my skin starts flaking off.

of course, i change my socks, etc. every day (sometimes twice a day). i've never been told i have an odor problem.

i think it really depends on the person. trust me, more people would be complaining if i showered every day in the winter. i'd look like i had leprosy. :p

Thats disgusting, he should be bathe everday. Somtimes I bathe 2wice a day. I could not see myself working next to him in a cubicle. I would have to say something to him. If he is so open about his personal hygiene than I would mentione that this is not the norm. If I were his boss I would tell him not to remove his shoes and to bathe before coming to work

We take showers everyday, lately it's been twice a day due to the sticky humid weather. I also put clean fresh clothes on after every shower. :D

Shower everyday! Might take a weekend day off here or there.
When I'm really lazy.

Every day here. Twice if it's really hot & humid. Fresh clothes after every shower/bath.

Everyday, here in Michigan!!

To add to this post though, I have family that lives in France & they DO NOT shower daily. They "bathe" usually every 3 or 4 days. (They "sponge bathe" daily though.) Their hair is only washed when they "bathe."

So one time a cousin, who is an engineer, come to the States for business. He just couldn't say enough about how beautiful everyone's hair was out here....he'd never seen such beautiful hair on ladies before! Well, no kidding, it's because WE WASH OUR HAIR DAILY!! I couldn't even imagine going 3 - 4 days without washing mine! If I skip a day due to being sick or something, my scalp feels itchy & yucky!

Every day, and when it's really hot and humid, sometimes twice. The thought of anything else grosses me out!

Maine here.....

Not only do we shower at least daily but I have personally been known to change my socks several times in one day

I know...SHOCKER!

An absolute must here everyday. The kids try to weasle out every now and then, but on the whole, they shower daily also.

I always say that after a week a turn my underwear inside out for the second week. :) Seriously every single day. Can you imagine not bathing every day??? Our kids bathe about every 3rd day but it's more of a production with them.
