Right guys, I've called Las Iguana's just a short while ago and have provisionally booked us in for the Saturday 27th at 4pm (don't worry, I can cancel this and I've not paid anything yet)

They have told me that I will need definite numbers and a £5 deposit from each of us also if we'd like to confirm this. They have said that they will be able to seat us all together over a couple of tables, so this should allow for chatter

The restaurant is child friendly and we'd need to let them know of any special dietary needs on the pre-booking.

They have a bar area too, in case we'd like to say behind after the food for drinks and more chat

Any thoughts on this?

That sounds great. I can also attest to the fact that they are doing rather wonderful drinks there.

And yes Corinna, I agree about the drinks. I las iguanas' cocktails. Although I won't be having any when we go as I'll be driving. But one won't hurt

I am really sorry but im not going to be able to make it now.

The girls came home from Karate lastnight and one on there competitions have been changed to that date.

I am really disappointed not to be able to make it, but makesure you all have a for me and can't wait to hear all about it, and hopefully I will be able to make the next one whenever that is

For those of you that are familiar with Manchester, where do you recommend that I park my car? I'm not exactly sure if the restaurant we're going to is in the city centre or an out of town mall etc etc....

I will check with DH to see what he thinks. I live in central Manchester, but I don't drive. The restaurant is in the city centre only a short walk from the Arndale Centre. This might actually be the best place to park the car.
