Northeast folks about the snow....

Anything below 3 inches is a big deal for me. that means the snowblower doesn't work as well and I have to shovel!

From accuweather.com:

Expert Senior Forecaster Joe *******i sees similarities between this storm system and the storm that struck the East in February 1979, when more than 2' of snow fell from northern Virginia to New Jersey.

YIKES!

But they are saying about 3-6 right now...they just don't know.

Does this mean that PA. won't get any? (crosses fingers) hey I can hope can't I ?. :teeth:

Hey, they covered PA with that white mass...I can't see it, LOL. Yeah, we've been given the warnings...we all know the procedure. It's a snow storm for goodness sakes, anyone north of the Mason-Dixon line should be used to snow in the winter months. Gather mass quantities of toilet paper, milk, eggs and bread and hunker down like there is no tommorow.

Why the tp?
In case the french toast doesn't agree with you?

LOL...the last thing you want to run out of when you are stuck at home is toilet paper...especially if the Snow Storm French toast doesn't agree with you...LOL

son of a biscuit...I know I'm quoting myself here...but I'm actually giggling out loud here at work for coming up with this.

god I'm horrible...

Doesn't matter how much snow is coming Friday.... if my school cancels classes, they still expect us poor office staff to drive in... they cancel classes, meaning the faculty don't have to come in and the kids can stay in their residence halls (yeah right), but they don't care about us having to drive in any type of snow, they still make us come in!!!

Bring on the snow!! Give me a reason to stay home from work on Friday. :cheer2:

Damn, thats right I swore! :teeth:

stinkerbelle, too funny. :rotfl:
Yes must have tp. :teeth:

The TP's not for the spoiled french toast. It's for the gallon challenge that you have to take with the milk when the power goes out. Have to get rid of it before it spoils ;)

I have heard so many different reports for how much snow were getting---no clue what to expect! Hopefully we dont get it here in jersey :)

Well, I'm all set and ready . . .cause Peapod delivered my groceries today and I have all the essentials . . . :cool1: Besides, a long weekend looks pretty good right about now! Won't catch me killing myself to drive to work "I don't want to spend the holidays dead" :rotfl: (had to quote my favorite line from Christmas Vacation)

Tonight's weather predicted 7 inches for my area . . .I guess we'll all be waiting to see if it actually pans out for a change. :rolleyes1 :cold:

ROTFLMAO, Stinkerbelle. I reall y hopes this misses us I took Friday off to take my mother Christmas shopping up in Tannersville, PA. I also have one of the pugs scheduled for surger, I am suppose to drop him off Friday morning. If it snows it's a waste of a vacation day and I have to put off puggie's surgery, it's not an emergency yet, but he has bladder stones that are causing him trouble, though not blockage yet. It can become an emergency tomorrow or in a year.

LOL, during a snow storm, there is no reason for your milk to spoil even if the power goes out.
