North To Alaska--May 3, 2011 on the Disney Wonder

Just not really sure what to expect fro weather , planning on 60's and sunny to 40's and wet,

I have these really KEWL red Canada Mittens.

I know one thing, after getting soaked in the Costa Rican rainforest on the PC cruise I definitely need more waterproof layers. Jacket and shoes are taken care of, gotta find a good pair of cargo pants next. Not taking any chances on this trip.

I use rainpants...gortex ones...I got them at Campmor (they ship world wide) they are worth every penny you will pay! If I expect to be cold, I wear silks or thermax under them...always toasty warm no matter how cold it gets outside (been outside standing around in them for 3 hours in 25 degree weather with strong winds...stayed toasty!) A good pair will cost around 200.00 so don't be overly suprised.

Any corrections? Any joiners?

I have that there are 38 cabins and a total of 90 people. 10 of the 90 are under 18.

Thanks! Nothing surprises me anymore. I've been looking at North Face and a few others, but luckily I've still got some time to shop around. I'd also looked on Zappos and they had some really good deals on waterproof pants. I've just been making sure to read the reviews to see what other people's experiences are with them. Just because a company says they're waterproof doesn't necessarily mean they are.

Hello,
Im Caligirl15 and I have just booked the Alaska cruise with my grandparents. I would like to be added to the fe. I have done it a few times on the christmas cruise magic, dream cruise, and med cruise magic. Would this be possible?

Hi! Let me know what info you still need from us. We still don't have a room number as of 13 March. we're an 11GTY, Huggybear and Hebe Jebe

Hi, I thought I was replying to another board, but no problem, Jennifer is running the Fish Extender list and her boardname is Hebe Jebe. She will need to know how many in the room will be participating, if children are participating, she needs their name/sexfor the list. Oh, if you have a room number, let her know what your room number is.

Welcome aboard - if you want to be included in the free lanyard and name badge give away, please let me know the first name of everyone in your group.

If anyone has airfare with Air Canada you might want to just check it from time to time. They are notorious for changing their flights. I had a direct flight from Vancouver (there was one brief stop but no plane change) and just happened to go on-line to check on it. My flight has been cancelled. They did put me on another flight...with a 4 hour layover in TO :scared1: I was able to change it to a layover of just over an hour...but I'm glad I noticed this now!

Thank you for the welcome. It is me (JO) age 27, My grandma Elaine, and my Grandpop Steve. Looking forward to posting seeing great things

Thanks for the info. I've added you to the Lanyard list.

...it isn't the Willardsons that cracked... 2 Michael Godard pieces. The rep told me they have had HUGE problems with that printer. They are replacing the pieces for shipping only. I purchased both pieces (at different times) from Wyland Galleries at WDW.

Godard paints some nice stuff! :thumbsup2

Okay guys ... I have had NO LUCK finding entertainment for GUYS NIGHT OUT ... other than a little remote control helicopter (would be interesting to fly from Outlook Bar, over Quiet Cove Pool). What the heck are we going to do for entertaiment? Is anyone brave enough to storm the wheelhouse?

Air Canada moved our flight up by 30 minutes ... but *did* send us an email noting the change.

Based upon your post saying that you are flying from LA to Vancouver, you are only doing the Alaska cruise and not the LA-Vancouver repo as well.
