North Face fleece for 9yr old DD?

My 9yr old DD is begging for a North Face fleece jacket this year. Please tell me where I can find the BEST deal. I am frugal (I prefer that term over "cheap") and I have a hard time justifying that much money on a jacket she will outgrow in a year if not less. I have searched ebay looking for one but not really finding much. What retailers do you bargain shoppers recommend? I am looking for a girls size M which is like a 10/12. I found my DD14 one at Costco but it is a ladies or junior size and they are too big for younger DD. Any guidance anyone could provide would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!

The Campmor website has the girls Denali jackets as their Hot Deal right now with free shipping. Most colors are $89. Regular price is $109. A few years ago I was able to find a girls Denali on line for about $65 from Sports Basement. That company no longer sells on line.

I know 6pm.com just had a sale on North Face but I think it may have been just men & women - worth double checking though!

Have you thought about a Columbia fleece jacket as an alternative? I bought one for myself when we lived in Seattle because I couldn't justify spending that much on a sweatshirt/jacket. It was only $13 during Black Friday! I've had it several years now and it's holding up great (minus all the dog hair I can't get out of it )!

we were at Marshall yesterday and they had several kids North Face. DD was mad because she wanted one in a jr size and they didn't have any!

I bought my daughter 2 of them when she was 11 and figured maybe she could get 2 years out of it- well she is 14 now and it still fits! Boy did I get my moneys worth out of that!!
