Normal for no available reservations 4 weeks out

I've been to Disney multiple times and have never had a problem making a reservation for character dining up to two weeks before. Even same day several times during the summer. But for June 4th to the 7th there is zero availability for Plaza Inn breakfast. Is this the new norm now or did I just get lucky before.

I would just call, it is probably the website, or they are holding them back for some reason. That is weird, we are local so we never plan ahead and I have never encountered that except around holidays. School is not even out yet locally.

On holiday weekends or during the old runDisney weekends this often happens with character breakfasts. With Plaza Inn you can usually still walk up and get in, even on busy weekends you just will very likely be seated outside which isn't that big of a deal. But for the Character Breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen or at Paradise Pier once the reservations are gone you are usually out of luck (no walk-ups).

Plaza Inn is popular but that seems odd to have nothing at all. I would try calling.

I suspect the restaurant might be closed or something, since I can make reservations on Saturday. Personally, I would call and check it out.

If it’s a small group did you try for a different number of people? Often I can’t get a res for 1 or 2 but I can for 3 or 4 so I book & then call Disney dining & adjust it down. (They can adjust down without availability but not up.)

Well adjusting didn’t help, in my checks it appears no Plaza breakfast is available from Jun 2-8. Hopefully Disney Dining has some insight for you, the suspicion that some refurb work could be your culprit is looking correct right now...

Was able to book for 7:40. Which is earlier than we wanted. But that time comes and goes when I go back to check.

Also Disneyland is down one character meal with the closure of the princess meal in DCA. Since Plaza only does breakfast I could see it just being all full. They still have parade dining package availability that week, so I don't think the restaurant is closed.

I would encourage you to keep checking back, too. I was trying to make BB F! reservations a while back (at 60 days out) and it game me no availability aver the 3 days of our visit. I looked again, same thing. Then a couple days later I tried and had my pick of times on any of our date. Maybe the system just gets backed up or something, but don't give up--you can probably get something.
