Nordstrom Selling $425 Mud Coated Jeans

Are the mud stains permanent, or do they come off during the first wash and make them into $50 jeans?
Luckily, the stains are permanent. You wouldn't want to spend all that money and then need to find REAL MUD to replace this with after the first wash!! :scared1:

Feels like this money is best placed back into the economy than staying in the pockets of those who would spend it this way.

I never understood paying extra for clothes with holes in them or the "distressed" look. I prefer to wear holes in my clothes myself thank you.
Yeah. I remember back in the 80's the holes in jeans look was popular, but you didn't buy them that way! They just wore in, end eventually, when the holes in the knees got too big, you just made them cut-offs.

Wow! It makes me feel better that when DH comes in from working all day in the barn with his $24 pair of jeans........they will now be worth $400 and something!!! "Don't throw 'em in the wash darling!!"

I guess people are just to lazy to get their own jeans dirty. Have someone else do it.

Well I say to each their own. There are an awful lot of things regular people spend money on that I think is stupid, and I'm sure I spend on stuff others wouldn't agree with. It's what makes life interesting! I don't think I've ever spent more than $25 on a pair of jeans.

Am I the only one who feels like we must be getting punked here? Like maybe the Marketing department was sitting around late on a Friday after they'd had a couple of drinks and making bets with each other? "No, seriously man - I can get them to pay for (insert ridiculous piece of crap here)"... Here's another example, also available at Nordstrom:

And it is working. They are pulling a T**** No publicity is bad publicity....

Yes. I like drinking Pinot Noir from Oregon. They aren't cheap. Every time we visit our daughter at college in McMinnville Oregon we come back with 4 to 5 cases of wine.

Just got back from Bend, OR visiting our DD and grandDD and since it is a huge beer town (I don't drink beer) I tried a few Oregon white wines and enjoyed them!!! I don't drink red wine at all.

We also drove out to the coast in Newport, OR and had some good Oregon whites as well. Kicking myself I didn't get the names of them!

I agree. It's easy to look at what other people spend money on and think it's stupid but they can easily do the same thing to you.
There's been a few items making the social media rounds that are examples of ridiculous things people waste money on but it's really a silly thing and send more like a way to bash people as being dumb. Are people actually buying these jeans? I doubt they are actually popular. They seem more like a niche product. It's easy to look at them and say "damn people with that kind of money to waste on jeans are dumb. They'll buy anything"
