They just posted the June EMH and the hours for May have changed also!

The schedule did call for each park except AK, to have 2 Early Entry days per week. Now they have it listed as only one early entry day per park, per week. June is the same way. What a bummer! I was really excited on the possibility of having more early entry days for our vacation. Oh well. Here is the official Disney site for EMH.

I don't understand. As I see the schedule they have each park getting one morning EMH and one evening EMH per week so that's 2 days of EMH per park per week.

They have changed the May ones...there were days where they had MGM, for example, opening early and staying open late so that meant MGM had two EMH in a week in the morning plus the evening ones and MK was the same way. Now, it looks like they are back to just am or pm and not both.

I made notes of Sun listed as both at MGM.
Wed both at MK and both on Thursday at Epcot and now I think they are all back to one or the other. Didn't check them all though.

Since they redid the EMH to offer one morning hour and three evening hours, there has only been 1 morning at each park each week, and 1 evening in each park each week, except at peak periods. What schedule are you referring to?

YES! They took away Early Morning Hours for MK on the day we are doing Cindy's breakfast, I was bummed that everyone else would be on Main St. with us, now it looks like it's only us. :cool1:

For May, they did have more than one morning per week...it's changed now. I mentioned this last week on a different thread because it was different than the hours on disboards. They have reduced them now for May. There were two listed before when you went to the link and read the days.

Two weeks ago the link she posted had double EMH for MGM on the 15th, MK on the 18th and Epcot on the 19th. Now they are just evenings. If they had to take one (morning or evening), I'd rather lose the one hour instead of the three hour session.

Do they adjust the hours by attendance/crowd projections...do the EMH changes mean they don't think it will be as busy as they thought and they don't the extra EMH's?

I'm hope so...maybe it won't be as crowded as I was fearing.

Who knows...maybe someone made an error ??

I didn't see any changes for my week. All these changes are making me nuts. :sunny:

I agree, I think it may have been an error or misprint. When Disney announced the morning and evening EMH the schedule they were going to go by was:

Sunday: MGM evening
Monday: Epcot morning
Tuesday: MGM morning and Animal Kingdom evening
Wednesday: Magic Kingdom evening
Thursday: Epcot evening
Friday: Magic Kingdom morning
Saturday: Animal Kingdom morning

They have made some changes to that to accomodate crowds (like MK being open every morning 1 hour early during spring break). But that was the original schedule. Perhaps it was just an error when the May days were initially posted . **There are some park changes to the May schedule that do not follow the above days to accomodate the press events, for example on May 3, which is a Tuesday the morning park is scheduled as MGM and the evening park is Epcot (not AK) and on May 5 (the press event day) Thursday, instead of having Epcot for the evening it is AK (as Epcot closes at 3pm that day)...

What??? They freakin' changed it ?? Augh!

ok never mind... they just took my morning away at Epcot... not a big deal I can live..

oh nuts..wish they'd stop playing with the schedule. First I changed my dates because I wanted to see certain flower power bands. I changed my dates, then they changed theirs. I'm living with it, and just rejoiced in the extra park time, and made PS's accordingly. Well, now I see those are changed. Good part is, I assume the bookings aren't as tight as they thought and the place may not be as crowded! I had three changes affect us.

if I do say so myself.

Let's say it's EMH at EPCOT. Can I get a FP at 8:00 for a ride that's open, say Mission: SPACE? The FP says to return anytime between 9:00-10:00. Then at 9:00 when everything else opens, can I get another FP for another ride?

Is this possible? Or are there no FP's during EMH?

Thanks for the help! :earsboy:

When they have the extra EMH hours for a park in the evening, do the guests who are staying off site get a shorter evening than usual? Do they still get to see the evening shows - like Illuminations at Epcot or Fantasmic at MGM? Do resort guests get wristbands for the extra hours? Does security make a big sweep of the park to get everyone else out before the late night people get in - or do they just check wrist bands and send you out if you don't have one? Just wondering how it all works, so we don't get caught in the middle - not knowing the rules.

Non resort guests would still get to see Illuminations, Fantasmic! and Wishes. Resort guests do get wristbands and they check for these at rides from what people have reported. I don't know if they make you leave if you don't have one or not...I think some people have said, they can shop, they just can't do rides. I don't know about that one.

Correct, they do not boot anyone out but you cannot ride without a wristband. Just as an FYI, don't wait until the last minute to pick up your wristbands. When we were there in January there were some decent size lines and the park were not crowded then. As attendance grows so will the lines for the wristbands. Also everyone must wait in line, at least that's how it was when we were there. A dad in front of us wanted to get everyone in his party but they wouldn't let him.

I am planning on the fact that I can't make my itenerary until the last possible minute. :scared: Frustrating, but less frustrating than making an itenerary and changing it a million times. Who knew it took this much work to have fun??? :flower:
