I just read that the other day and was shocked! I love The Class and can barely tolerate Rules of Engagement. I hope this doesn't happen

That stinks...I thought the show got better as the season went on...that red head dude cracked me up...Rules of Engagement is really funny though also...I hope they keep both shows.

I read about a month ago that it would probably be cancelled and I'm bummed. I also want to know what happened to the Holly (the reporter). All of the sudden, a few weeks ago, she disappeared from the opening credits. Did I miss something?

The Class started slowly for me, and I never got into it. I wonder if that happened to a lot of people. I have seen Rules once, and I thought the female actors were just horrible.

I hope The Class doesn't get cancelled. I LOVE that show; it's one of the funniest on TV.

Rules of Engagement is OK; I like Patrick Warburton, but I don't think it's better than The Class.

Did you like her? We didn't. I read they scaled back the cast based on viewer feedback. I guess not enough people liked her or her "I'm not gay" husband (although they brought him back for two episodes without the wife).

I had wondered what happened to her, too! Now, I wonder why she got fired?

I hope they don't cancel the show, though! It is so funny! Rules of Engagement isn't all that great, IMO. I watched the first couple of episodes, but it just didn't do anything for me.

I soooo agree! I really enjoy The Class. It took me a couple of weeks to get in to it, but I like it a lot now.

They could dump that stupid Christine show off the airwaves and I'd do a happy dance . I really really don't like that show.

I really like The Class even though I do agree....I think it started off rather slow. They had a lot of characters to let us "get to know". But I know them now and want to see their lives continue.

Yeah, I actually did like her and I thought Sam Harris was a hoot. I did some further research this afternoon (gotta love the internet) and it seems like they wanted to make her a recurring character instead of full time. She didn't like that and quit. I just hate when a character leaves a show and they don't give us any explanation. In her case, the writers could have sent her off to report overseas and we never see her again, but at least it's an explanation.

I sure hope that they somehow decide to bring The Class back again. So many hit shows today didn't truly take off until their 2nd season or so.

The Class is/was one of my favorite shows of all time. I thought it was giggle-out-loud funny, which is rare... and I loved so many of the characters. Ethan... Duncan.... ah, so adorable! And fantastic writing!

I saw this thread and went to the CBS site and e-mailed them not to cancel the show. At the bottom of the homepage is a feedback link. It took less than 5 minutes. If we all do it, it could help, can't hurt.

Why does the crappy King of Queens get 9 seasons and they want to cancel a show that is actully funny? I also agree about Old Christine, that show is just annoying, and they gave her an Emmy for it.
